Práce se zabývá analýzou bezpečnostních strategií Evropské unie a Spojených států amerických vycházející z rozboru příslušných dokumentů. Práce se rovněž zaměřuje na implementaci strategií těchto dvou významných mezinárodních aktérů do praxe a nastínění jejich vývoje do konce roku 2008 využitím aktualizovaných verzí obou dokumentů. The aim of this work is the study of security strategies of the European Union and United States of America using the analysis of relevant documents. The study also contains a part dealing with the implementation of strategies into the political practice and is concerned with the recent development of strategies confronting the updated versions of both strategic documents.
