Cílem této práce je analyzovat postavení Japonska v mezinárodním obchodě včetně popsání aktuální makroekonomické situace. První kapitola charakterizuje makroekonomické ukazatele jako HDP, inflaci atd. v průběhu posledních několika let. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na vnější ekonomické vztahy Japonska. Popisuje obchod v komoditní i teritoriální struktuře, tok přímých zahraničních investic a účast Japonska v různých mezinárodních organizacích. Poslední kapitola se zabývá obchodní spoluprácí Japonska s jeho hlavními partnery -- USA, Čínou, EU. Pozornost je věnována také bilaterálním vztahům s Českou republikou. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the situation of Japan in international trade concerning the current macroeconomic situation. The first chapter gives characteristics of macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, inflation etc. during the last few years. The second chapter aims at Japan's external economic relations. It describes trade in commodity and territorial structure, flow of foreign direct investment and Japan's participation in various international organisations. The last chapter deals with mutual business cooperation between Japan and its major partners - USA, China, EU. An important part is devoted to bilateral relations between Japan and the Czech Republic.
