Aircraft simulation model and analysis tool
Búliková, Tereza ; Daněk, Vladimír (oponent) ; Zikmund, Pavel (vedoucí práce)
Equations of motion are the basis for describing the motion of an airplane. In aviation, they come in several forms, for which different solutions are offered. The thesis presents the most commonly used types of equations, outlines their derivation and gives examples of their solutions. Other characteristics can also be derived from the equations of motion, such as the dynamic stability of the aircraft, which is important for evaluating flight safety and flight quality. The criteria for evaluating flying qualities are described in the work, while the practical part of the work consists in the creation of evaluation software in the Matlab environment with the possibility of evaluating different types of aircraft. Meeting the criteria is one of the conditions for the successful certification of the aircraft. Furthermore, based on the equations of motion, a flight simulator was created in the Simulink environment, which uses two display environments - Unreal Engine and FlightGear and also allows simulating the flight of various aircraft based on the knowledge of their stability derivatives.
