Level of first aid knowledge of ice hockey coaches

Title: Level of first aid knowledge of ice hockey coaches Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis was to determine the level of knowledge of ice hockey coaches regardless of the level of coaching license. The partial objectives are whether time since passing the coaching license affects the level of first aid knowledge of ice hockey coaches and whether first aid knowledge is higher in ice hockey coaches with higher coaching license. Methods: In my work, the method of anonymous survey was used. The questionnaire consisted of two parts, where the first part contained 9 general questions about coaching activities, from which i then evaluated the results and answered the research questions. The second part of the survey contained 18 questions on first aid knowledge. Results: Based on the survey, it was found that ice hockey coaches do not have sufficient knowledge in first aid. The results showed that the average success rate of the respondents (38) was only 58.3%. It was also found that time since licensure has a negative effect on the first aid knowledge of ice hockey coaches. Coaches who completed their coaching license studies recently (0-2 years) demonstrated better knowledge in this subject than coaches who completed their studies two or more years ago. Title: The role of coach Objectives: Define moral qualities and coaching assumptions of football trainers based on monitoring their behavior during trainings and matches. Tendency is to compare all the club coaches across categories, describe their pros and cons and assign them to suitable category. Eventually, to find out if these properties influences achieved license. Methods: Observations in practice, descriptive analysis, interviews with coaches Results: This writing show us proportion of influence of inborn qualities, skills and achieved license of the coach in different categories. Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area

6 ABSTRACT Title: Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area. Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to determine wether the activities of coaches in handball teams, divisions under the Regional North-Moravian Handball Association (OSSH), are in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Czech Handball Federation (CSH). Methods: For the entire research project was chosen the epirically analytical method. With respect to the geografically large area, we considered interrogation method which can be used to collect both quantitative and qualitative research data. All collected data were summarized by entering inno tables and graphs. In the verification of hypotheses the data was evaluated by using basic statistical methods, the arithmetic mean, absolute frequency and relative frequency. Results: The thesis was intended to result in recommendation for coaches' education and development in the mentioned region. With reference to the research results in this thesis the recommendation will not related to impetus for only participation in the trainings. As we found out, the passing of the education and training activities themselves is not a problem. The recommendation will be predominantly related to the change of approach. It is necessary to transform the passive approach into the active one...
