The Optimizing of the Process in the Quality Control - ISO 9001

In my master´s thesis I am dealing with process approach as one of the basic principles resulting from management according to ISO 9001. Introductory theoretical part pays attention to basic thesis resulting from ISO 9001. In practical part I analyze processes, system of continual improvement and I show economical drop of the International Standard implementation. In the last part I mention the proposals to optimize the process approach.
Design of key performance metrics

This document deals with process approach and it´s use in measuring companies performance. It presents an overview of individual approaches, from traditional containing only financial indicators to modern ones using non-financial indicators and incorporating into the measurement the areas related to customers employees and more. The work also mentions the Quality Management System contained in ISO 9001: 2015 and it´s approach to performance measurement. The chapter about metrics covers performance measures, in particular key performance indicators, their purpose, properties and distribution. Here are also presented the procedures for their determination and the pitfalls to be taken into consideration in their selection and use. Next chapters are devoted to the compilation of a metric system of specific companies.
Certification of Quality management system

The Bachelor’s thesis deal with the quality management system certification. In the introduction to the points at issue you can find an explanation of some basic ČSN EN ISO 9001 terms, its history, origin and development. After that some particular ISO standards of 9000 series and methodological instructions for accreditation (MPA 50-01-07) are discussed. The biggest emphasis is put on standard ČSN EN ISO 9001. Particularly chapters 4 to 8 are analysed here. The other significant part of the theses is the chapter 7 dealing with the process of certification. The whole process from its origin up to the edition of a certificate, following supervision and re-certification is here described in detail. The current state evaluation and future development prediction are given in the conclusion.
Quality perfection in trailer manufacture

The diploma work is dealing with solution of concrete problem from the industrial practice. The main aim is to increase the quality in trailer production. The section of state of the art includes the description of selected characteristics about the company AGADOS, analysis of production process including controlling and monitoring activities. The theoretical study introduces processes and methods of planning for continuous improving of quality. The evaluation of monitored results with the support of IS tools was proceeded by construction of recognized divergences by the help of Pareto diagram. After the implementation of corrective proceedings to improve the quality, which was estimated in terms of processing engineering, repeated evaluations have been applied. The effectiveness of proposed proceedings is illustrated by construction of Pareto diagrams, which are presenting the complex examination of changes before and after implementation of corrective proceedings.

Sense of automation for mechanical product processes

The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the sense of automation in terms of innovation of production processes. The machine examples describe the current situation of a particular manufacturing process of a particular manufacturing company. The aim is to emphasize the influence of automated machine on the course of the production process. It points to the innovation of the production process and its benefits. At the same time, further improvement steps are being proposed that gradually move the manufacturing company to Industry 4.0 level. This analyzes the possibilities of using this concept of the future and its elements.

There is analysis of current situation in the company and a process map. Based on the findings, process improvements are proposed, which allow elimination of waste and reduce cost of the process.

This diploma thesis deals with application of the Lean management principles in the manufacturing company, which corresponds to the name of this thesis. The first part explains meaning of the term Lean and offers a view into the history. There are introduced basic principles and individual tools of the methodology together with focus on the purchasing department role. Practical part of this thesis is focused on specific department of the company. By using of appropriate Lean management tools and methods the current status is analyzed, potentials for waste reduction are identified and specific measures are proposed.
