Identification of Vehicles in the Images of Traffic Situations
Petyovský, Petr ; Sojka, Eduard (referee) ; Železný, Miloš (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to propose methods for obtaining the additional vehicle parameters from the real-world traffic situations images and including existing information of the license plate and localization of the vehicle in the scene. The task is to use an existing installation of the camera systems based on data obtained from these devices to propose a new method of extraction of other vehicle's parameters. Solutions can be divided into two groups: 1. Methods for obtaining the features and methods of data evaluation which will lead to a vehicle's type identification based on a single image of the vehicle. 2. Methods for obtaining data of the vehicle's shape based on image sequence of passing vehicle.
Využití elektronických systémů pro řízení provozu strojů
Bazgier, Tomáš
This diploma thesis is about electronic and information systems for machine opera-tion control. The theoretical part describes transport telematics, the main systems of satellite positioning used in transport and the specific application of these systems in selected branches. In the practical part, the evaluation of the telematics application Fleet Management in joint-stock company Lesostavby Frýdek-Místek, which uses this system for the control and management of its own fleet, was carried out. The various tools of the given system and their use were described. According to the system outputs after the measurement, the accuracy of the track length recording when moving vehicles on the road was evaluated.
Intelligent Transport Systems in the Czech Republic and their use
MALÁSKOVÁ, Martina
Thesis on "Intelligent Transport Systems in the Czech Republic and their use" is focused on the analysis of intelligent transport systems, particularly for road transport in the Czech Republic. The aim of my work is to summarize the information and knowledge of ITS in the Czech Republic to introduce individual systems, their functions and to assess their contribution to road safety. Based on the evaluation of telematics systems used I suggest in the final part of the ITS elements in selected urban sprawl, particularly in the Czech Budejovice.

RFID and Monitoring of Hazardous Goods in Road Transport
Fiala, Lukáš ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Vašíček, Petr (referee)
This Master's thesis examines the possibility of implementing an intelligent transport system for monitoring road vehicles carrying dangerous goods through the territory of the Czech Republic, for the purpose of providing relevant information to emergency responders in the event of an accident involving such vehicles. The aim is to explore whether, and how, can radio-frequency identification technology be used in such a system. The scope of the research is not limited to technical aspects of the solution. Various options are considered in terms of capital costs, complexity of the required information system and impact on shippers and carriers from an economic and business process standpoint. The paper briefly describes the current legislation concerning the transport of dangerous goods, the existing processes and entities involved in transport and handling of traffic accidents. Following is a comparison of several possible implementations of the monitoring system.
Payments in a transport Infrastructure of the Republic of Belarus
Liasun, Alina ; Zelený, Lubomír (advisor) ; Mervart, Michal (referee)
The thesis is about a transport Infrastructure payments in the selected transport branches of the Republic of Belarus. The first part is about a general description of the transport infrastructure of the country that connects the European countries with the Russian Federation and the Baltic States. Focus on the actual state, quality, development of the infrastructure. The second part - the description of the methods and tools of payment. In connection with a progressive development of road infrastructure and different methods of payment more attention is given to this type of communication. There are several systems of road payment in the world. The first method is based on the principle of time, such as vignettes. Another method is payment before road use (Toll). The first method is not working in Belarus, so the work described the second method. The last part of the thesis is about the payment on the certain types of transport infrastructure in Belarus. Focus on such transport types as rail and road transport, also made attention to the air and river transport.
