Survey and Diagnostics of Building Construction
Růžička, Petr ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the preparation, execution, and evaluation of a structural and technical survey of the former football stadium za Lužánkami in Brno. The theoretical part focuses on diagnostic methods relevant to the survey of reinforced concrete constructions. The practical part describes suggestions for the survey, and the execution of each of its parts, followed by a structural evaluation of the chosen component. At the end, an evaluation of the state of the building is carried out based on the results of the survey and calculations.
Evaluating the quality of implementation of the hand shotcrete
Kopecký, Lukáš ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Svoboda,, Pavel (referee) ; Dočkal, Karel (advisor)
Currently, the high speed and low price are required for construction works in the modern architecture. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with verifying the quality of the constructions. Dissertation thesis is focused on evaluating the quality of the execution of sprayed concrete without accelerating additives applied by spraying by a dry way manually-sprayed. The quality of shotcrete was judged on the basis of standardized both non-destructive and destructive methods using sprayed samples. The quality of shotcrete was assessed in terms of strength of sprayed concrete in pressure, density and homogeneity judged on the basis of the velocity of sound samples. The destructive method was carried out on the core samples which were pressured on the hydraulic press, as the non-destructive method was used ultrasonic passageway method based on the propagation velocity of the ultrasonic pulse. On the basis of our results and their mutual correlations, it has been proposed the modifications of the general equal used for predicting the strength of the sprayed concrete tested by our strength class, which leads to a potential reduction in the number of cores on the real structure, and therefore reduce the price of implementation of qualitative tests and increase effectiveness of carrying out tests on the construction place.
Design of Building on the Wenceslas Square
Moc, Ondřej ; Hladík, Pavel (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The Diploma’s thesis deals with the design of selected parts of reinforced and prestressed concrete structure. Internal forces were solved by software SCIA ENGINEER. Prestress concrete element was solved by module TDA. Phases of construction were considered. Detailed solution is focused on the design of reinforced concrete floor slab with joists within the basement, reinforced concrete beam with five spans within the basement, reinforced girder within the basement, reinforced column within the basement, reinforced footing and prestressed concrete joist within the basement. Drawings of shape and drawings of reinforcement are included in this thesis. Other elements of construction were not solved in this thesis.
