Statistical analysis of the airline transport by appropriate quantitative methods

The theme of the air transport is becoming increasingly popular among people nowadays. Therefore, this Master thesis deals with a statistical analysis of the Czech airline Czech Airlines j.s.c. The system of timelines from 2003 to 2014 was used to analyse the number of transported passengers regarding passenger traffic and the number of transported goods and mail within the air freight transport.
The theoretical part of the paper is based on a literary review where basic terms of the air transport and timelines are described. The aim of the analysis is to apply particular trendy features on indicators of the research. According to the selected trend, predictions for the following the three seasons are made.
Subsequently, the statistical analysis is evaluated and recommendations aimed
at improving the future situation of the company are made.

Comparison of selected european underground

The theoretical part of bachelor thesis deals with the interpretation of technical terms about underground and with the historical development of European underground. Nine selected representative underground is described in the next part more detailed. Special attention has the Prague underground.
In the practical part there is a comparison of nine underground according to fare, length, occupancy and pace of development. The last part of the practical part deals with comparison of the Prague metro in terms of construction, costs in recent years and also with aspect of time. All comparisons are made in the form of analysis, comparison and synthesis by using data from official sites of individual transport companies operating undergrounds.

Návrh optimalizace dopravy v městě Brně

Transport has besides to its irreplaceable positives also a large number of negative effects. Most of these effects pervade all elements of the environment and has a harmful effect on organisms. This thesis is focused on describing the impacts of transport with a detailed approach to air pollution and traffic load in the city of Brno, next there is general description of the current traffic problems in cities and its solutions in other European countries, including a comparison with the situation in Brno. Using a questionnaire is finded out satisfaction of passengers with the Brno public transport including proposals of passengers to improve the situation. In conclusion of thesis are desing solutions of optimizing transport in Brno by using the acquired knowledge and consideration of their implementation.

Information System for Passengers in Rail Transport

This thesis is focused on information system for rail passengers. The first part aims to explain the importance and the function of the information systems for passengers who use the rail transport. The second part of theory targets on characterising the importance and functionality of the Telematics Transport Systems which are focused on this issue. The aim of the practical part is to characterize yet applied information systems which support the transport awareness of the passengers and to analyze the main processes. The third part of this thesis is also practical and is focused on the information systems and how they are perceived by the passengers itselves. This perception by the passengers was identified from the survey but also by own experiences. On the basis of this analyse requiremens on the funcionality of the information system were evaluated. The final part of this thesis deals with opportunities for improvement of the Information System and subsequently also improvement of the awareness of passengers. The section describes the proposal itself but also the consequent possibility of realization.

Its current integration and effiency will be evaluated based on a study of professional literature and after that, changes and optimizations will be proposed in order to increase the transportation quality. "I'm looking towards inspiration from foreign train lines as well as with opinions of travelers and commuters.

Operating irregularity in air transport: application and subsequent enforcement of passenger rights within EU

The main objectives of this thesis are identification of operating irregularity which can be met in air transport by common traveler, outline cause of these irregularities and characterize direct influence on traveler in air transport within whole Europe. Then I focus on defence against these unexpected or deliberate irregularities, which are available for standard citizen of European Union but also for every carrier. Methods which I going to use and realize in this thesis are based on my own experience and practice which is especially based on cooperation with external subjects. External subjects deal with this issues. In conclusion of this thesis should be a clear proces and structure which clearly determine when and under what conditions is carrier responsible for irregularity and simultaneously when traveler have a right for compensation.

Problems of integrated transport system and its use

The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate and compare the chosen integrated transport systems in the Czech Republic and based on findings submit a proposal to improvement. For this purpose are chosen the largest and the smarter transport sysstems in the Czech Republic, which are: - Integrated transport system of the Hradec Kralove region (IREDO) - Prague integrated transport system (PID) - Integrated transport system of the South Moravia (IDS JMK) Within the analysis is used the evaluation of the qulitative indicators, for example the number of the carriers, the number of tthe stations etc. This shows that these indicators haven?t got sufficient predictive value for the analysis and final evaluation, because some differences among the transport system. Therefore are the ratios included the analysis, which arw designed on the basis of the quantitative criterions recalculated for factors causing the significant differences of the transport systems. From the analysiss came out best the Integrated transport system in Prague (PID), because of the high freguency of the transport links, large fleet, reliable continuity of the transport links, and the positive evaluation of the range of distribution network, the number of vending machines, types of tickets and existence of the car lots P+R. The worst rated is Integrated transport system of Hradec Kralove region (IREDO), which was recomended to concenterate for the information sources and to attractive the system by these sources. Generally speaking the successful integrated transport systems are these which comply with conditions of the uniformity, intelligibility and clarity. Another important factor is the high frequency of the transport links, the continuity, availability of the bus stops and of course the quality passenger information.
