Pine. Watercolors loosely inspired by the work of Antonín Slavíček.
HAVLISOVÁ, Kateřina
The first chapter of the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is devoted to an outline of the art-historical development of the depiction of the forest, with the foundations of this research based on the landscape painting development and the way the society of the mentioned periods viewed the forest. This chapter describes selected periods from prehistoric times to the present and mentions some artists who have dealt with the subject in their work. The second chapter describes the life and work of Antonín Slavíček, with a bigger focus on his paintings of forest interiors. In the practical part, the author focuses on the painting of pine forests, where she is freely inspired by Slavíček's artistic expressions and uses the theoretical background presented in the first chapter of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis.
Testování účinnosti vybraných povolených přípravků proti patogenním houbovým organismům dřevin v podmínkách in vitro
Ellingerová, Eva
This diploma thesis deals with testing the effectiveness of six selected approved preparations against pathogenic fungal organisms of woody plants in in vitro conditions. Specifically, they are Propizol (propiconazole), Phosphojet (potassium dihydrogen phosphate), Horizon 250 EW (tebuconazole), Ortiva (azoxystrobin), Topas 100 EC (penconazole) and Previcur Energy (fosetyl, propamocarb). Solutions of different concentrations (from 0.0001 % to 100 %) were prepared from these fungicidal substances, which were subsequently tested against the pathogenic fungal organisms Cylindrocarpon cylindroides and Sphaeropsis sapinea. The selected pathogens mainly attack conifers. In the case of Cylindrocarpon cylindroides, it is the genus Abies, and in the case of Sphaeropsis sapinea, the genus Pinus. All operations were carried out in the phytopathological and mycological laboratory at the Institute of Forest Protection and Hunting. Here, the tested pathogens were regularly checked and measured. After 13 weeks, the effectiveness of individual fungicidal preparations at given concentrations on 2 selected fungal pathogens was evaluated. The results show effective fungicidal preparations as well as preparations that, on the contrary, support the growth of the pathogen. The most effective fungicidal substance in both cases of pathogens was Horizon 250 EW (tebuconazole), which stopped the mycelium growth of both pathogens already at a 1 % concentration of the active substance.
Determination of Chlorophyll Content in Birch and Pine Trees Using Hyperspectral Data
Zachová, Kateřina ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Brodský, Lukáš (referee)
The master thesis deals with the determination of the chlorophyll content in birch foliage (Betula pendula Roth) and Scots pine using hyperspectral data. The first part of the thesis concentrates on the literature search dealing with the methods of chlorophyll content in the foliage of selected plant species. In the practical part the emphasis is on the study of spectral reflectance curves and finding their relation to the chlorophyll content from the laboratory determination. Images taken with the hyperspectral sensor HyMap and spectral reflectance curves obtained with the ground ASD FieldSpec 3 spectrometer were available. Using the derived regression model chlorophyll maps were created for Scots pine for three selected locations in the Sokolov coal basin area.
Dendrochronologické datování a stavebně-historické hodnocení krovu kostela svatého Václava v Lukovanech (okres Brno-venkov)
Brázda, Ondřej
The object of this thesis is the dendrochronological analysis determinating the age of the wooden roof of the Roman Catholic church of St. Wenceslas in the village Lukovany in the district Brno - venkov. The thesis describes the standard dendrochronological process from sampling, its modifications and measuring up to the actual dating. In the text there can be found also constructional-historical development of the building. The chronological order of this development was created based on the literature review, field work and questionnaires. The trees used for truss were cut after 1810, the trees used for the bell tower after 1837. The dendrochronological dating and the analysis of the anatomical structure of wood helped to validate and to narrow some historical periods of the church. The results of this work can help managers and possible investors in the managing of the building, considered repairs and reconstructions.
Povrchová úprava jevištních podlah
Koutník, Daniel
The diploma thesis deals with the comparison of physical-mechanical properties of pigmented surface finishes used for solid wood pine flooring. The theoretical part deals with stage floor systems and interior public floors. Furthermore, it analyzes the requirements for interior public floors and the ways of its stressing and finishing. Experimental measurements of surface finishing are performed by using test methods. Waterborne and polyurethane coatings were selected for surface finishing. The aim of this work is to compare individual physical-mechanical properties and to develop the most suitable surface finishing for stage floors. Subsequently, the technological procedure for its completion is determined.
Zhodnocení zdravotního stavu dřevin na vybraných plochách obecních lesů obce Chotovice (okr. Svitavy)
Buben, František
The bachelor thesis evaluates the tree health status in selected areas of the municipal forests of the Chotovice (district Svitavy). Monitoring was carried out at one-month interval from October 2016 to January 2018. Determined damages of trees were recorded and documented photos. Determination of microscopic types of damage took place in the MEDNELU laboratory. In total, 28 negative factors were found. Depending on the number of visits in which the species was found and the frequency of its occurrence, its significance was determined. Among the most important species that negatively affect the health status of woody species are insect pests European spruce bark beetle (Ips typographus) and Ash-bark Beetle (Hylesinus fraxini). The main fungal pathogens are Diplodia Blight Sphaeropsis sapinea, Fomes Root Rot (Heterobasidion annosum) and Ash Dieback (Hymenoscyphus fraxineus).
