Mathematical modelling of crown rate

This thesis is focused on mathematical modelling of exchange rate CZK/USD in 1991 - 2014. Time series was divided into 5 parts. First Box-Jenkins methodology models were examined, especially ARIMA model. Unfortunately, the model could not be used because none of the time series showed correlation. The time series is considered as a white noise. The data appear to be completely random and unpredictable. The time series have not constant variance neither normal distribution and therefore GARCH volatility model was used as the second model. It is better not to divide time series when using model of volatility. Volatility model contributes to more accurate prediction than the standard deviation. Results were calculated in RStudio software and MS Excel.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of development of leasing in Czech Republic. Theoretical part explains the issue of leasing and describes Czech Leasing & Finance Association. Another section describes the methodology regarding the time series. It is subsequently used in the practical part, which deals with the analysing the development of leasing of movables since 2000. Own work also presents time series of financial and operational leasing. There is also calculated the prediction of future development in 2014.

Vliv úrokové sazby na objem poskytnutých hypotečních úvěrů

This thesis deals with the influence of interest rates on the volume of new mort-gage loans in the Czech Republic. Regression and correlation analysis was used to determine the measure of dependence. For comparative purposes, the regression analysis was performed on the data of the Slovak Republic. In the second part of the thesis the series of newly granted time mortgage loans were examined, both in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. For both states a prediction of the volume of new mortgage loans for the next eight quarters will be created. The result of this work compared the development of the mortgage market in the Czech and Slovak Republic.

Vliv rostoucího trendu počtu studentů vysokých škol na trh práce v ČR a SR

Kavoň, F. Impact of the increasing trend in the number of university students on the labour market in Czech republic and Slovak republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2013. A theoretical part of the thesis contains definitions of frequently used terms such as education, demography and labour market. The theoretical section also includes the procedure containing explanation of basic econometric terms and relations, thus helping to process the practical part of the thesis. First chapter of above mentioned practical part of the thesis contains regress analysis describing the dependency between observed data. Second, core chapter of the practical part contains the development of time series of individual observed parameters. There is also prediction allowing results derivation of performed analysis. Thesis conclusion and discussion contains a comparison of analysis results with proposals of individual ministries of education regarding functioning and further development of secondary-school and academic education. It contains also proposals and recommendations for achieving an optimal development of educational system on secondary and tertiary level.

The aim of this thesis is based on modelling of revenue streams in a sweatshop Klokánek. At the beginning the reader will get familiar with basic terminology and methods related to marketing analysis and time series forecasting that will be later on applied in the practical part using historical business data. The aim is to create quantitative basis for pricing and estimation of revenues for a selected product, partly based on competing sweatshops pricing and quality of services. The particular forecasting was conducted for several variants of sales levels: Holt-Winters method, Monte Carlo simulation, SARIMA. These inputs were collected for the recommendations that were provided in the end of the thesis.

Identifikace dlouhodobých finančních souvislostí v rozpočtu domova pro seniory v Boskovicích

This bachelor thesis analyses development of selected expense and yield constituents of budget of homes for the Elderly in Boskovice from the years 2007 to 2013 by methods of time series. For primary orientation in development of monitored values are used elementary characteristics of dynamics, and discovered outputs are made by connection with a certain activities of the establishment. This bachelor thesis tries to discover connections in development of particular constituents of charges and yields one another. Subsequently, suitable models are created for particular constituents of charges and yields and predict their future development.

Hospodářské dopady změn struktury půdního fondu dvou krajů ČR

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create regression models of regions Pardubice and Zlín. The theoretical part includes the general information about the land foundation, land registry and public administration. The reader is informed here about the characteristic of regions Pardubice and Zlín. Problems of the timelines and the regression analysis are explained here. The progress of particular kinds of land in regions Pardubice and Zlín from 1994 to 2013 is analysed in the practical part. Their future evolution is determined by an appropriate trend function. Dependence, between the particular folders of lands and the economic performance and the employment in individual economic sectors and in the region as a complex, is researched under the terms of the regression analysis. The mutual comparison between the regions is carried out on the ground of obtained results.

The thesis deals with the causal relationship between the prices of the emission allowances (EUA) and selected energy prices. The first part is focused on the presentation of the EU ETS. The empirical part uses econometric methods to investigate mutual causality. Two unidirectional causal relationships were found, from natural gas price to EUA price and from electricity to EUA price.

Vývoj vybraných demografických ukazatelů Brazílie

Bachelor thesis deals with the development of selected demographic indicators in Brazil since 1960 to the present and predicts the population, gross birth rate and death rate until 2030. The thesis consists of theoretical, methodological and practical part. The first section explains the basic demographic terms. The other parts aim to chart the evolution of demographic indicators and to understand reasons of this development. Based on the performed analyzes, it was found out that during the given period in Brazil is increasing population, decreasing the annual population growth, declining birth rates and death rates, declining official unemployment and illiteracy. In all indicators are significant regional differences, which are gradually reduced.

Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014 This bachelor's thesis is focused to analysis of expenses of health care and preventive health care per insured for General Health Insurance Company of Czech Republic and the Military Health Insurance Company of Czech Republic between years 2005 and 2012. The theoretical part provides information about both the health insurance companies and individual expenditures. In the practical part is an analysis of the data obtained from the annual report of health insurance companies. The work also includes three time series for each insurance company containing the number of insurance holders, the expenditures for health care and for preventive health care. In the conclusion of this work are predications for the number of health insurance holders and total expenditures for health care of above mentioned health insurance companies.
