Proposal of new clamping system of inserts for wood milling tools

The work presented in this thesis has been dealt with issues of clamping systems of indexable inserts of woodworking milling tools. The aim of this thesis is to design new clamping system of indexable inserts according to the request of company Vydona, Ltd. The work has been divided into three chapters. Chapter 1 deals with characteristic of wood milling process. It has aimed to create a basic view at main parameters which are influencing clamping system of indexable inserts. Chapter 2 has been a literature search of existing clamping systems used in timber industry. The last chapter has been aimed to design of clamping system for pre-cut indexable insert.
Tools for Automating the Workflow Processes

The the thesis deals with tools for workflow processes automation. It describes in general what workflow is. It also briefly describes tools such as MS BizTalk Server, SAP NetWeaver, IBM WebSphere, ORACLE BPEL. The main part deals with Windows Workflow Foundation. This tool is decribed in detail together with its parts workflow runtime, workflow instances and workflow activities. One part of the thesis is a application, which uses all the possibilities of Windows Workflow Foundation.
Force loading of cutting tools during the machining process

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis summarizes a knowledge of the force loading of the cutting tools and state of the art in the cutting force measurement. In the experimental part, work deals with the development of the software for a force records analysis. The main objective of the software is to automatise the processing and analysis of the measured force records. The functionality of the newly created software was verified by evaluating the circle-segment end mills experiments performed at the Institute of Manufacturing Technology of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, BUT.
Past and present of Jívák settlement

The aim of this thesis is to conduct research of entire history of Jivák settlement in Central Bohemian region since its establishment in 1926 to the year of 2016. Importance of so-called normalization and transformation era will be stressed in this work. The author will also try to track certain matches or disagreements in the area of everyday life, coexistence with other settlers or participation on settlement's events based on interviews conducted with settlers of various age. Another aim of this work is to compare settlement's social life before and after the year 1989. Last but not least, author will try to find out, whether Jivak settlement served as a shelter from political and social reality in 1948-1989 Czechoslovakia. Contemporary prosaic folklore in Nymburk district after 1945.

The aim of this thesis is to conduct complex research of orally transmitted genres of modern folklore in the area of the Nymburk district. Importance of contemporary legends (urban legends) and rumours is stressed in this work. The author is trying to find an influence of international narratives on those actually collected during his research in the smalltown and rural areas. On the other hand, there could be an examples of original and unique narratives that could be found only in area of the Nymburk district. Main hypothesis of the thesis is to find out whether Czech oral narratives from big cities differ from those of rural and smalltown areas, and whether some kinds of these stories can survive only in one of those areas. Study also focus on who from local society is mostly spreading such narratives.
