The knowledge about contraceptive methods of the pupils of the selected school

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the knowledge of pupils of specified middle school about contraception methods. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out the level of the knowledge of middleschool pupils about contraception methods, sexual education sources and the connectivity of their teoretical knowledge with praxis. In the theoretical part of the thesis are given basic concepts related to the reproductive health, anatomical concepts, menstruation and puberty and also the importance of contraception methods in relation to abortion and sexually transmitted diseases. It contains also the selection of sexually transmitted diseases and historical evolution of contraception methods. In the practical part of the thesis contains data analysis from the questionairre survey among middleschool students. Based on the obtained results, a short recommendation is concluded.

The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders.

The theses titled "The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders"is divided into two main parts - the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of individual disorders, epidemiology and the factors with influence on the emergence of disorders. Next the symptoms and effects of eating disorders in children and adolescents are described as is the treatment and the field of prevention. The practical part is then focused on the research of awareness of students of the problematics of eating disorders, with evaluation of the questionnaire survey. Besides the level of awareness of students, the subject of the research were the most common sources of information on the matter and the influence of the location of schools in the Czech Republic on the awareness. The results of the practical part showed that the grammar school students have highest level of awareness and are followed by the secondary vocational school students and the primary school students in Prague. The worst informed group consisted of the primary school students in the Central Bohemian Region. The second level students awareness of elementary school about alcohol's effects and risks

This diploma thesis deals with one of the most frequently used addictive stuffs - alcohol. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of the addiction and the syndrom of risky behaviour in the adolescent age, it deals with the topic of drugs and drug addiction. Later, it investigates alcohol - its characteristics, metabolism and intake, its effects on single organ systems, the levels and types of alcohol addiction. It focuses on the prevention of using addictive stuffs and alcohol and on the treatment of alcohol addiction. The practical part of the thesis settles the targets and the questions of the research. The main goal of the practical part, eventually of the whole thesis, was to analyze the basic school students' (sixth grade and higher) awareness of alcohol, its effects and the risk of it being consumed. As well as this, the aim was to find out whether the pupils have any experience with preventive programs and where they get in touch with these. The method of quantity research was used to hit these targets - semi-structured questionnaires for the pupils of basic schools (sixth grade and higher), followingly, school prevention methodologists were asked written questions. Fluid intake and physical activity of university students of various faculties in a selected locality

This thesis is about drinking regime and physical activity of university students in a selected locality. It is divided into two main parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part contains basic concepts associated with lifestyle, offers a broad overview of soft and alcoholic beverages. It defines the life stage that characterizes university students and describes their selected sports activities. The practical part contains the processing and analysis of collected data using a questionnaire survey, interpretation and evaluation of results. For data collection was used research technique of a non-standardized questionnaire in online form. The questionnaire includes both closed questions that offer a specific number of possible answers and open questions that do not provide any prepared answers. The questions relate to external phenomena as well as to internal phenomena (attitudes, feelings, etc.). The collected data are shown in graphs or tables and compared between certain faculties, level of education and on the basis of gender aspects. Preventive activities in the field of prevention of eating disorders and their implementation at selected primary schools

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of eating disorders in the school environment. The aim is to find out what preventive activities are implemented in this area at selected primary schools in Prague 8. The thesis introduces the reader to the issue of risky behavior, the work of prevention methodist, including the creation of the minimal prevention program and prevention itself. These chapters summarize the basic aspects of the professional work of prevention methodists and their multidisciplinary focus. The theoretical part of the work also includes an overview of the most common eating disorders, including possible circumstances of their origin, consequences, methods of treatment and cooperating subjects. The key part of the work is a chapter dealing with real research in a selected sample of a team of school prevention methodists. To obtain information, the method of anonymous questionnaire survey was chosen, the results of which showed the types of preventive activities implemented as well as the methods of their implementation. Knowledge of second-degree pupils of the selected elementary school on selected infectious diseases

This Diploma Thesis deals with the issue of knowledge of second grade pupils of a selected elementary school regarding selected infectious diseases. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out to what extent pupils aged 11 - 15 are informed about infectious diseases, their transmission, treatment possibilities, protection against them and to what extent their school participates in such awareness procedures. The theoretical part includes the definition and approximation of basic terms concerning epidemiology, hygiene and microbiology. It provides basic information about infectious diseases, transmission methods, protection against them and their treatment. The practical part analyses and evaluates the data obtained by the questionnaire survey among second grade pupils of the selected elementary school. A total of 186 questionnaires were used to evaluate the results. Indeed, the results confirmed that the pupils' knowledge of infectious diseases is not sufficient for their own health and safety development. Many pupils have misinformation about vaccinations, incubation periods and protection against infectious diseases.
