This master thesis deals with the issue of project funding from the Structural Funds of the EU. At first are defined theoretical ways out of the municipality, project and project management. The next part analyzes contemporary state of the town Kunovice. Subsequently, the prepared concrete proposals for funding from EU structural funds and other alternative financing. The conclusion is evaluating the possibility of financing the project.

The bachelor thesis covers the evaluation of the financial situation of STAR TECHNIK, s.r.o. during the 2017-2021 period. The theoretical part focuses on the issues of financial analysis and its methods, and introduces individual concepts based on which company’s condition is assessed. In the following practical part, these methods are applied to a selected company. Finally, based on the results, the thesis proposes possible solutions for improving the financial situacion of STAR TECHNIK, s.r.o.

Monetary Policy of the Federal Reserve System in 2007-2010

The thesis describes the chain of causation that leads from the causes of the financial crisis over its consequencies towards the reactions of the Federal Reserve System. After the consequencies of the Crisis have been identified, the author deals in detail with the measures taken -- with their characteristics and the way they function. Afterwards, the author evaluates efficiency of these meausures and describes the role they played in the overall attitude of the Federal Reserve System to handling the Crisis.

The Maastricht Criteria and its alternatives

This work deals not only with the issue of the Maastricht Convergence criteria but also with an alternative way of evaluation of the preparedness to monetary integration ? the theory of Optimum currency areas. It contains an enumeration of convergence criteria stated in the Maastricht Treaty, explains its purport and imperfections. Further on a few criteria stemming from the Optimum currency area theory are listed and the relation between them and the Maastricht criteria is examined. In the practical part the preparedness of the Czech Republic to enter the Eurozone is evaluated on the basis of both criteria. Emphasis is put on the relation between the Maastricht criteria and the Optimum currency area criteria on both, theoretical and empirical basis.
