This Bachelor thessis is focused on lifestyle issues of nurses. The Theoretical part of this work mentions factors that influence lifestyle. The Main Topics are nutrition, smoking, physical activity, stress and relaxation. Focus of the work consists of a quantitative research, are treated by statistical methods and relate to the difference of three groups ( nurses single and married, nurses working in ICU and on a standard ward, nurses to practice within 5 years, with experience 5 - 10 years, more than 20 years) that are compared block by block from the questionnaire. The sample consists of only women who work in shifts in the ICU or on a standard ward.

The extent of awareness of pubescents and adolescents before a planned operation The theoretical part of this work deals mainly with the mental preparation of adolescent patients before a planned operating surgery (operation). I used two kinds of anonymous non-standardize questionnaires for the research, one of them was used for collecting of data from nurses and the other was used for collecting data from adolescent patients. The research was carried out from November 2005 to March 2006. It surveyed the extent of contentment of adolescent patients and nurses with the information provided at selected workplaces before a planned operation. The results of the research show rather high contentment of nurses and adolescent patients with the information provided before a planned operating surgery (operation) at selected workplaces and the independence of contentment on the age, sex and earlier experience of adolescents with a planned operation.
Life and social support of the czech soldiers of the army of the Czech Republic in operation in Afghanistan

ANOTATION The bachelor's thesis deals about the quality of life and the degree of psychosocialogic pillar by the soldiers AČR in the outward mission in Afghanistan. It points to the importance of psychologic setout before the departure to the mission, also that the attendence of army psychologists in missions is uncoverable. I'm trying to explain their actions which are connected with this hard life situation for all soldiers who participate there. The accent makes quantitative prospective checking by force of questionary ŽSO/01/11. Pursuant to it I asked to the degree of psychosocialogic pillar and the quality of soldiers who act in the afghanistan outward mission. The points of interest were regular soldiers, the members of 71. mechanized battalion Hranice, who were added at the function of protection commpany 6. PRT mission ISAF.

Obtained informations are transferred to tables and graphs. Quality of life and its changes in the case of people with post-traumatic disabilities

Balchelor's thesis deals with quality of life and its changes in case of people with posttraumatic disability. The aim is to characterize posttraumatic psychical and physical growth of three selected respondents and to reveal factors which may affect it in positive or negative way, respectively. Thesis attempts to determine following objectives: (1) How respondents subjectively assess quality of their lives? (2) Whether traumatic event caused positive development of their personality? The research was carried out using mixed approach technique with three different methods: posttraumatic growth curve, semistructured interview and standardized questionnaire. The sample consisted of three respondents, who suffered a serious injury with subsequent permanent disability. The quality of life yielded to various changes during posttraumatic psychical and physical growth of individual respondents. These changes were predominantly associated with inability to satisfy and fulfil their needs and ideas about their lives. The results showed that traumatic event affected primarily mental aspect.
