Proposal of the Plastic Overload Clutch
Ujčík, Martin ; Mrázek, Dušan (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the proposal of the geometrical change on the sliding holder which is ensuring adjusting of the headlamp in to the correct position. It means a change of geometrical concept. Proposed geometry overtakes the security function of the overload clutch witch ensured in current solution additional part. Proposal was created in CAD System Catia. Function of the solution was tested with finite element method in SimDesigner program and with the evaluation of measuring of prototype part.
Methods of Space and Spectral Characterization of Light Sources used in Car Industries
Guzej, Michal ; Černý,, Pavel (referee) ; Samek, František (referee) ; Horský, Jaroslav (advisor)
Automotive headlamps work in very variable operating conditions during which the producer have to guarantee their primary function of seeing and being seen. During the development stage of the new headlamps the manufacturers want to eliminate defects which could led to malfunction in operation. The numerical simulations along with the test procedures are appropriate tools for detection of problematic areas. The most appropriate approach is designing of experiment with a view to the subsequent simple implementation of the measured data into numerical simulations software and carefully choosing a measuring method of the monitored physical quantities. The thesis deals with phenomenon of condensation in headlamps, which has a negative effect on the light distribution and their life expectancy. Due to this experimental defog methodology was developed based on evaporation of a specified amount of water into the headlamp and then condensation on the inside surface of the headlamp lens. Pictures are taken during the measurements and the fogged and defogged areas are automatically detected. The results from experiments are used to adjust and verify a numerical model. The next part is devoted to the thermal load of the headlamp components which are mostly heated by waste heat from light sources. This phenomena depends mainly on the type of source, emissivity and thermal conductivity. A methodology of temperature measurement, thermal conductivity measurement, non-stationary method for emissivity determination and spectral characterization of thermal source based on their thermal fluxes to the surroundings has been developed.
Design of heatsink for electrical component of automotive headlight
Větrovec, Ondřej ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the cooling of electronic component. The work focuses on contemporary design of LED signal functions used in modern automotive headlamps and a on new design solution for the DRL function in the headlamp Skoda Octavia, including the use of alternative materials for cooler.
A New Design for Sealing Headlamp Adjusting Screws
Lysa, Bohuslav ; Mrázek, Dušan (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
The bachelor thesis covers several issues connected with the sealing of headlamp adjusting screw. The thesis includes analysis of the O-ring fastening and analysis of the fixation adjusting screw in functional position. On the basis of the analyses a new design of O-ring fastening, a new design of the adjusting screw fixation are proposed. Finite Elements Method in SimDesigner software using 3D modeling capabilities provided by Catia V5 were used for calculations and simulations in selected parts of the analysis. The feasibility study regarding adjustments of the existing casting form of the adjusting screw is included in the thesis.
Possibilities of the physiotherapy for the transverse flat foot in context of influence on the deep stability system
Prajková, Hana ; Šlapáková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Samek, František (referee)
This Bachelor work is focused on possibilities of physiotherapy by a laterally flat foot, a deep stabilisation system and their mutual interference. Flat feet are a very frequent problem nowadays. Soles keep contact of a body with a ground surface, they bear the weight of the whole body, absorb the shocks, etc.. The feet function is very important, and for that reason we have to try to reduce the biggest risks, which endanger it very much. In this work the authoress deals with, as it was already mentioned, the issue of flat feet and deep stabilisation system. There are anatomical and functional analysis, an examination and possibilities of physiotherapy. The authoress cooperated with 3 patients. She described in detail their casuistries, which also include short-term and long-term physiotherapeutical plans. These focus not only on the mentioned parts of body, but on the whole body, too. Critical words: flat feet, deep stabilisation system, physiotherapy possibilities, physiotherapeutical plans.
