Amateur volleyball and social capital

The thesis represents the environment of amateur volleyball and at the same time familiarizes with a concept of social capital. As the environment of amateur volleyball the author chooses seasonal contest Amateur volleyball league. To clarify the concept of social capital, she uses mainly the knowledge from works of sociologists Putnam, Coleman, and Bourdieu. The aim of the thesis is to know the degree of creation and usage of social capital in the environment of amateur volleyball with an emphasis on amateur concepts. Based on selected articles from some works of the mentioned authors, several hypotheses are developed. A sociological survey in the form of a specially compiled questionnaire and subsequent analyzes serves to verify these hypotheses. The analyzes confirmed all the developed hypotheses, namely that the actors included in the group of amateur volleyball players are able to successfully create and use the concept of social capital.
The"traditional" family and its Function in the 21st Century in the Concept of Family Policy. Case study: Prague and its Surroundings

Bachelor thesis focuses on topic of "traditional" families and its function in 21st century in concept of family politics. Thesis tries to remind traditional families, which are not typical nowadays, however they still do exist. The aim of the thesis is to determine the stance of traditional family in scope of family politics in Czech Republic and tries to identify its possible problematic areas. The answers are sought through the connection of theoretical parts that include division of families, women and gender and also family politics in Czech Republic in relation to traditional families and, last but not least, with the help of qualitative thematic analysis of conducted conversations. The thesis proofs that family politics in Czech Republic is not inclined to those families, on the other hand, families themselves does not find a problem there and are fully reconciled with it. It also defines three main problematic areas concerning disrespect in society role, financial difficulties and rising of children itself. Positive finding is that the problematic areas are not in the way of traditional families that would force them to choose for another family model.
