Pilot project on flexibility management at LV level
Sýkora, Jan ; Pilař, Martin (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the topic of flexibility, especially on the demand side. It includes the definition of terms related to the issue, the basic principles of operation and possibilities of use. The main researched branch of the study is the usage of the flexibility potential of heat pumps. The work is based on real data from a pilot project executed in the winter of 2021/22, which examines the portfolio of households with a heat pump and observes the possibilities of using flexibility, its management and especially the impact on load change depending on the estabilished baseline.
Construction Order Preparation
Pilař, Matěj ; Nový, Martin (referee) ; Waldhans, Miloš (advisor)
In this thesis we analyse the preparation and proposition of construction for a specialised construction company. The goal of this thesis is evaluation of the obtained results and to suggest possible enhancements. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we analyse the issue generally, while we apply them to the specialised construction company in the practical part of this thesis.
Providing flexibility with detachable loads Procurement and commodity product prediction
Sykora, Jan ; Radil, Lukas ; Pilař, Martin
Flexibility is generally considered as the potential ofa facility (generation/consumption or storage) to actively changethe amount of its generation/consumption/accumulated energybased on price signals or direction. This control strategies ismanaged to correct deviations of the electricity grid or to ensurethat the purchase/sale of electricity is profitable for the flexibilityprovider. This paper presents a comparison of the control of heatpump consumption to provide consumption flexibility.

Alternate crop: maral root (Rhaponticum carthamoides (Willd.) Iljin) Cultivation, significance, and use in plant protection
Bárnet, M. ; Pavela, R. ; Pilař, M. ; Mráz, J. ; Pluhař, P. ; Vosátka, Miroslav
Certified methodic provides in depth information on cultivation technology, processing and use of maral root in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Both new research findings and practical recommendation for production of biologically active compounds are included in the publication. The methodic also describes utilization of the plant for the production of a biopesticide.
Easily accessible poisons and crime in Czech republic
PILAŘ, Michal
Based on the study of available literature in this thesis are defined easily accessible poisons, which are carbofuran, methanol, ethylene glycol, marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine. The thesis is further defined by crime, with those readily available poisons committed on the territory of the Czech Republic. Defined easily accessible poisons were also associated with a particular crime that is committed to them and based on statistical outputs of the Czech Police and the National Drug Headquarters of the Police of the Czech Republic was conducted statistical research that is readily available to these poisons committing a crime on the territory of the Czech Republic, and whether there are differences in crime rates between different regions of the Czech Republic. The second part describes the methodology of work and research questions. The third part consists of the results which graphically compares crime committed with easily accessible poisons. The final part consists of discussions, where they are analyzed the achievements of work. To achieve the objectives in this work used data collection methods, analytical, mathematical and graphical. While writing this thesis I first considered studying literature in easily accessible poisons and study applicable laws, which serve as the legal basis for the definition of crimes. When I was writing a thesis based on research questions: They are easily accessible poisons available in the Czech Republic? There in the CR crime committed using readily available poisons? There are differences between individual regions in the Czech Republic? These research questions were answered by meeting our goals, namely the Czech Republic are readily available poisons available with them commit crime in the crimes committed there are differences between individual regions.
Logistics support police of the Czech Republic in dealing with crisis situation
PILAŘ, Michal
Police of the Czech Republic provides for declaration of an emergency or crisis situation many activities. For the successful implementation of these activities must be appropriately trained police staff and to provide appropriate conditions for carrying out these tasks. An integral part of providing adequate conditions of police personnel and logistical support. This work provides a study of available literature and law basic picture of the logistical support of the Police in dealing with a crisis situation, which is described in the first part. Using quantitative research in the form of an anonymous survey validates the level of logistical support to the Police of the Czech Republic. The sample was composed of the officers of district police department of various regions of the Czech Republic. The sample consisted of rank and file police officers, as well as heads of district police department. A questionnaire survey during the first three questions focused on the characteristics of the sample. Another part of the questionnaire assessed, among other things, whether the respondents participated in a crisis situation, whether they are satisfied with the equipment your department, your company vehicles and their personal resources to tasks in dealing with crisis situations. Subsequently, respondents are asked whether they accomplish tasks in dealing with crisis situations and receive food and rest assured that they are by the employer in the event of damage to equipment and facilities these parts replaced and whether they changed equipment before its expiration time. The last section of the questionnaire addresses the information to carry out treatment (intervention), the possibility of connection points emergencies, providing medical services respondents and provide training with legislative changes well in advance. Based on the study of available literature in the thesis are defined in terms of crisis management, emergency, crisis situation and found there is a parallel between these concepts and the concept of logistic support. In the second part describes the methodology and hypotheses. The third part consists of the results. The final part consists of discussion, where they are analyzed achievements work. To achieve the objectives of the work in this work used methods of data collection, analysis, mathematical and graphical. When writing a thesis, I first studied the literature in logistics and logistical support and the study of the legislation, which serves as the legal basis for the logistical support of the Police of the Czech Republic in dealing with crisis situations. When choosing a topic for this bachelor thesis I stated hypothesis "Logistical support the Police of the Czech Republic is at a good level." This hypothesis was disproved in the thesis.
DIGITAL IMAGES PROCESSING IN RADIOGRAPHY
PILAŘ, Martin
This thesis is focused primarily on digital image processing and modern imaging modalities algorithms. An algorithm means a method for solving a problem or an instruction. In image processing an algorithm presents the process from data acquisition to the resulting image displayed on the monitor. Therefore, in the first part of the thesis a brief overview of principles of imaging modalities used in radiodiagnostics is given. Collected data have to be analyzed and modelled in a certain way. These modified data are then digitized and ready for further processing. The main objective of my paper was to explain, especially to radiology assistants, the basic operations and algorithms used in image processing that are commonly used. I also tried to prove that not only by changing scanning parameters, but also by changing any image parameters the test results may be affected. On the other hand the operating personnel may invalidate the examination and thus contribute to an imperfect diagnosis. Other sections of my thesis are focused on primary image processing and basic image operations. This information is followed by post-processing or secondary processing of visual information. An integral part of the image processing algorithm consists of hardware and software important for archiving and information transmission. A certain part of my paper is devoted to future trends in image processing. The whole theoretical part is based on practical experience and the results obtained by either creating a software algorithm or by measurement of a water phantom on CT, where the original hypothesis was defended by applying a filter. The results are supported by a graphic and image documentation.

Arranged every five years at the initiative of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Institute of Czech Literature, the congress brought together some 150 researchers from all over the world this year. Czech literature at the interface and the periphery deals with the personalities and forms involved in the occurrence of “otherness” in Czech literature: the boundaries of understanding “otherness”, problems of the emergence of “the other”, images of “the other” and the alternative cultural and geographical spaces of Czech literature. It looks in detail at authors who are neglected, not included or difficult to categorize, including Czechs beyond the borders. It also examines Czech-German, Czech-Austrian, Czech-Polish, Czech-Hungarian, Czech-Slovak and Czech-Jewish literary relations as well the “otherness” of particular works and characters, the context of Czech literature and translation, and the specifics of teaching Czech literature.
