Legal regulation of the position of political parties in the Czech Republic
Pilař, Jan ; Pithart, Petr (advisor) ; Ondřejková, Jana (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to explore and evaluate legal position of political parties in the Czech Republic and its historical development. This thesis deals with political party law in a narrow sense, particularly with constitutional arrangement and the Political Parties Act. According to the Constitution of the Czech Republic our political system is based on a competition of political parties, despite this fact not enough attention is usually devoted to their position in a legal system. This text uses an interdisciplinary approach combining mainly legal and political science. The thesis contains seven chapters and moves from general to specific. The first chapter deals with the term political party. Firstly it observes it from the prism of social sciences then it moves to political science definitions and in the end it extracts legal definitions and characterizes a private law nature of parties. Second chapter is about functions of political parties both in general and according to the law. The third chapter describes in detail the development of legal position of political parties from the year 1852 to the present time. The fourth chapter analyses current Political Parties Act its creation and amendments. The fifth chapter examines conditions of creating parties. The sixth chapter is about...
Preparation and characterization of nanoparticles for in vitro cell studies
Hladík, Martin ; Černoch, Peter (advisor) ; Pilař, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the preparation, characterization methods and in vitro imaging of nanoparticles with great potential for medical diagnostics. A key role in this work occupy nanoparticles comprising a core of calcium tungstate, CaWO4, covered by a natural polysaccharide together serve as a suitable model contrast agent for cell imaging techniques. CaWO4 natural properties such as the absorption of X-rays, natural fluorescence capabilities and capacities for doping fluorescently active lanthanides, makes from nanoparticles suitable candidates for the position of contrast agents for imaging in the diagnosis of oncological diseases. Moreover, by coverage of the inorganic core by natural polysaccharide nanoparticles reach the desired size and the possibility of active targeting to specific or nonspecific interactions with the cell membrane, which are key factors in in vitro cell studies. It was found the most suitable synthesis both doped and undoped core of this model reaching the formation of spherical particles of colloidal dimensions. Doping was realized by red fluorescent trivalent europium, Eu3+ , and green fluorescent trivalent terbium, Tb3+ , and neither of these dopants affected the original crystalline structure CaWO4. In the next stage, these fluorescent nuclei successfully dispersed...
Example of work with DynamoDB
Pilař, Jan ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Tomášková, Barbora (referee)
The thesis is focused on database systems called NoSQL and can be divided into two parts. The first part attempts to explain the concept and discusses several aspects that NoSQL differs from traditional relational-based model databases. Then follows a descrip-tion of the main streams approaches of data storage and comparison in the context of rela-tional databases. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with the basic principles of rela-tional databases. The thesis deals in more detail with a key-value databases Redis and Dy-namoDB. In the practical part is given example of work with the DynamoDB service. This chapter provides information on how to make it operational, fill with data and make queries.

Impact of weathering on chemical and morphological changes in stabilized polymers
Pospíšil, Jan ; Pilař, Jan ; Billingham, N. C. ; Marek, Antonín ; Kruliš, Zdeněk ; Nešpůrek, Stanislav ; Habicher, W. D.
Photooxidation, considered as the principal component of natural and accelerated weathering, affects together with oxygen, oxidizing and acid atmospheric pollutants durability of stabilized polymers by changing their chemical and supramolecular structure and influencing efficiency of stabilizers. Effects of the harshness of accelerated photooxidation, negative influences of atmospheric pollutants, heterogeneity in polymer oxidation together with formation of concentration gradients in stabilizer consumption and spatial distribution of stabilizer sacrificial transformation products are outlined. The data give more information on processes accompanying testing of stabilizer polymers and help to minimize misleading influences from over-accelerated tests.
