The bachelor thesis deals with proposal of specific instrument for development of study territory. Thesis is separated into two parts. First part is theoretical, focused on literary research and has to specify basic concepts and definitions connected with given issues. In the second, application part is more comprehensively described characteristic of chosen territory from the point of view of primary, secondary and tertiary structure of landscape. Component of application part is identification of values and limits of territory. In last chapter, application part is elaborated proposal of concrete instrument for development of chosen territory. Optimization of oil production by OPEC countries
Pilátová, Markéta ; Červinka, Michal (advisor) ; Rečka, Lukáš (referee)
Almost 4 years of low oil prices and excess supply call the relevance of OPEC for current oil market into question. Therefore to investigate its role, this thesis examines the optimum oil production of individual OPEC countries accenting the consequent profit. Firstly, Cournot's model is employed to find equilibrium price and output on the oligopolistic market. Secondly, model considering OPEC and Russia as the Stackelberg leader with competitors forming oligopolistic fringe helps to uncover the potential of the recent car- tel of OPEC and Russia. In both models, data from the year 2016 with different levels of elasticity ranging from -0.1 to -0.2 are utilized. Our re- search suggests that all OPEC members could have increased their profits by forming a non-cooperative oligopolistic market, where prices would reach up to 81.7 USD/bbl. Moreover, as a part of the cartel with Russia, OPEC could increase its joint profits by almost 27 % compared to the oligopolistic market, benefiting from coordinated output cuts followed by a steep growth in price. Thus we can conclude that either OPEC lost its power over the oil market or attempted to maintain its market share and drive higher-cost producers out of the market.
Multifactorial etiology of frozen shoulder syndrome and intervention possibilities of physical therapy
Pilátová, Markéta ; Bitnar, Petr (advisor) ; Machač, Stanislav (referee)
Theoretical part of the thesis is a scientific research of latest articles about frozen shoulder syndrome with accent to immunohistochemical level. At the same time, based on scientific literature it aims to clarify and statistically prove multifactorial causes of this syndrome especially in women going through hormonal changes. Psychosocial factors are also taken into account in this study and examined by unique questionnaire that was made expressly for this thesis. The questionnaire originates from internationally accepted clinimetrics such as VAS, SPADI, DASH score and most importantly SF-36. The theoretical research part also consists of "Therapy" chapter which describes latest trending treatment method for this condition. Experimental part, which consists of few case reports, focuses on a group of female patients who underwent range of motion measurement including functional testing of the affected limb. Next step followed was consecutive twelve minutes exercise on bicycle. They were controlled not to cross over anaerobic threshold. Level of exercise was controlled by predicted heart rate and estimation of the threshold by basic calculation and also by subjective Borg's scale of effort determined by the patient. After the bicycle exercise the range of motion was measured again and compared to the...
