Plant microclimate control

This bachelor thesis discusses the management of a microclimate environment inside an
enclosed box. The aim of the work is to propose and implement a program for the
automized control of the microclimate. Microclimate management is ensured by a PLC
(Programmable Logic Controller) system utilizing the program Mosaic. Radishes
(Raphanous sativus L.) were chosen as the test plant. Optimal microclimate conditions for
the chosen test plant were achieved by programming the management system. The system
is easily adaptable, meaning endless different species of plants can be grown properly.
Healthy plant growth indicates the correct parameters of the microclimate.

This bachelor thesis deals with independent electrical power sources , technical parameters of batteries , battery types , cost effectiveness in use and their potential use in agriculture according to the types of agricultural machinery, equipment and systems . The thesis de-scribes the economic evaluation of old and modern batteries. It compares the efficiency of the batteries and mentions the current use of advanced batteries in practice.

Automation of the cultivation process in term of pH factor and nutrient content in substrate

The main goal of thesis is creation of the automatic growroom and realisation of the controller. The controller will be able for measurement temperature, pH and pH of soil. The soil pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity in soils. The other part is about measurement of pH and conductivity. The practical part begun with measurement of pH by laboratory pH meter. These measured figures I compared with figures measured with my pH meter created by my own. The other part describe realisation of my own pH meter and control software. The pH meter was fully managed and also was created describtion for the growroom.

Automation of the cultivation process in term of program control of temperature and moisture

Theoretical part of this thesis describes different kinds of sensors used for measuring temperature and humidity of air. These sensors are categorized according to the principle on which they operate. It also describes their characteristics like range, accuracy and other aspects important for determining suitability for a glasshouse automation system.
Practical part of this work covers design of this system which can be used for auto-mated controll over temperature and humidity. It reasons about suitability of different kinds of sensors and materials. It also describes a software system capable of maintaining and changing humidity and temperature based on user input. Results of different mea-surements done during the system's operation in a variable environment are evaluated to draw conclusions about the system's ability to maintain constant temperature and humidi-ty levels inside the glasshouse.

Electric grid on building for special purpose

This bachelor thesis acquaints the readers with the problems of buildings which serve for needs of Integrate Rescue System. It contains an overview study for the proposal of the electrical installation the building determined for Integrated Rescue System. The part of work are normative materials for performance of the electrical installations with regard to the specific operating conditions and the backup of power supplies.
