The dissertation thesis deals with the occupation-related health problems of musicians and with the prevention and solution of these problems. The first part of the thesis is the introduction to the field of Physiology of Music and Performing Arts Medicine and introduction to the occupation-related health problems of the musicians (the most common sorts and causes of the problems). The thesis contains results of the statistic research concerning the occupation-related health problems of students of Keyboard Instruments Department of HAMU from the year 2011. The main part of the thesis is the treatise on the basis hygiene of practising a music instrument and on the body at the instrument. The thesis contains also the report about trial courses and consultations concerning prevention and solution of the occupation-related health problems if musicians for students of HAMU, realized within the dissertation project in the years 2009 ? 2012.
Bi-substrate inhobitors of human pyrimidine 5’-nucleosidases
Šimák, Ondřej ; Pachl, Petr ; Jandušík, T. ; Brynda, Jiří ; Buděšínský, Miloš ; Rosenberg, Ivan
The work is aimed at the synthesis of bi-substrate inhibitors of 5’-nucleosidases. The pyrimidine nucleobase of lead compound was derivatized in the 5-position with various phosphonic acids differing in conformational flexibility and in the length of alkyl side chain carrying phosphonate group. The phosphonic acid with optimal linker can reach the phosphate binding side and make strong interaction with the enzyme. Inhibition activity of such inhibitors and crystal structure of inhibitor-enzyme complex will be presented.
The acrobatic Act
Brtnická, Eliška ; Pachl, Petr (advisor) ; Capko, Štefan (referee)
I link this essay to my bachelor one, where I try to answer some question about acrobatics in theatre. The parts about acrobatic expression, creation of acrobatic act and new circus dramaturgie will be extended.
Sport and Theatre
Pecha, Zdeněk ; Novák, Rostislav (advisor) ; Pachl, Petr (referee)
In this thesis, two areas of the life of human society, sport and theatre, are treated. Its aim is to find a common origin and fiction of both phenomena, which are examined from the point of view of both active and passive participants. The thesis describes the psychological aspects of sport and theatre and tries to find possible links, similarities and differences between them. On account of these similarities and differences, the thesis examines the way in which sport and theatre influence one another. Its goal is to find common principles of sport and theatre and circumstances under which sport and theatre activities take place. It examines the potential of sport for theatre use and for stage practice; attention is drawn especially to martial art disciplines and their utility in theatre and then to benefits of learning martial arts within theatre studies. Some examples of a more concrete connection between sport and theatre are also mentioned.
Acrobatic Act
Brtnická, Eliška ; Pachl, Petr (advisor) ; Capko, Štefan (referee)
In this essay, I try to answer some question about acrobatics in theatre. At first I cite the definitions of terms, that I use afterwards in the thesis. Two parts concerning acrobatic expression and creation of acrobatic act are Fundamentals. Briefly I turn to the history, to the "cirque nouveau" genre and to dramatic acrobatics in practice. For better imagination I use some pictures and videos like completment.
Synthesis of new potential inhibitors of 5´-nucleotidases
Šimák, Ondřej ; Pachl, Petr ; Brynda, Jiří ; Rosenberg, Ivan
The work deals with the synthesis of potential inhibitors of 5´-nucleotidases. The phosphonobenzylidene ring of a phosphonate nucleotide derivative was recognized as a target for proposed synthetic modifications. Substituents selected on the basis of a docking study, mostly the electronegative ones, should be suitable for the formation of additional hydrogen bonds, and thus the increased inhibition of the enzymes.
