Auditory evoked potentials and its sensing
Němečková, Pavla ; Svačinová, Jana (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals recording evoked potentials. The TruTrace EMG was used for the recording and data was collected from 10 volunteers. For a better understanding of this is issue, is explained auditory system, recording methods, stimulation pulses and stimulation headphones at first. The main goal of the thesis is to compare the current averaging method with the newly created method. The results from both methods were compared based on their standard error of the mean. Bayesian averaging, new method, was more successful in 65 % than the pre-set rejection method.
Siltation of the Jirkov and Křímov water reservoirs
Němečková, Pavla ; Šobr, Miroslav (advisor) ; Chalupová, Dagmar (referee)
This bachelor's thesis contains detailed physical and geographical characteristics of the area and the comparison of the bathymetric methods. In the practical part it is focused on water reservoirs Křímov and Jirkov, which were built in the 1950s and 1960s. The main goal is to find out current conditions of water reservoirs using Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) RiverSurveyor M9 on the float, which offers automatic data saving. The bathymetric maps are created in ArcGIS Pro 3.0.2 by processing the measured data from 2022 and using the Kriging interpolation method. The current volume is compared to data from digitalized historical maps. The difference between these data gives us the amount of sediments and also the change of volume in every depth level. The current volume of WR Křímov corresponds to 1.31 mil. m3 , there was 6.4% silting compared to operating regulations. The Jirkov water reservoir has a current volume of 1.95 million m3 , in comparison to the operating regulations, there was only 3% silting. Key words: WR Křímov - WR Jirkov - bathymetric mapping - siltation

Němečková, Pavla ; Bříza, Petr (advisor) ; Zavadilová, Marta (referee)
Conflict of laws in contracts in the USA Abstract This thesis is focused on Conflict of Laws in the area of contractual relationship in the United States of America. Selected issues are being compared with law of the European Union. The First Chapter elaborates on the specific issues in Conflict of Laws, which are typical for the USA. These are mainly caused by the fact that within the USA, two separate legal systems operate on different levels - state and federal law. These specific issues also include the so- called idea of law-market or forum-shopping. Then I briefly summarize the history of American Conflict of Laws and describe the approaches that bear importance for the development of Conflict of Laws. The Second Chapter is focused on party autonomy in choice of law, its permissibility and limitations. Having used recent case law, I outline the approach to autonomous choice of law in certain types of contracts. The end of Chapter Two is about autonomous choice of law under the Uniform Commercial Code, which harmonizes the area of commercial law and which has been accepted in all American states. The Third Chapter deals with the absence of choice of law and finding the applicable law. I described the most widely used method under the Second Restatement, then the method under First Restatement and also...
