Parking house of NPP Dukovany
Marečková, Andrea ; Rosendorf, Aleš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is to solve the crisis situation of parking at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. Parking areas in front of the company are still the same, but the number of cars is growing rapidly. Therefore, the power plant management decided to solve this situation. Two nearly identical parkades were designed for this area to cover the capacity of 1572 parking spaces. It is a simple design of a 5-storey prefabricated building made of reinforced concrete columns, beams, SPIROLL panels and other elements. For better bracing of the building, the vertical communication cores were designed as monolithic reinforced. The façade of the building consists of a suspended structure fitted with expanded metal, which will help with incoming light and also with the exchange of degraded air in the garages. On the first floor there is a parking space for 142 cars, of which 4 are parking stalls for charging electric cars and 10 stalls for designated handicap parking, all these stalls are located only on the ground floor for easier access of the car owners. In addition to these parking stalls, there are three vertical communication cores with staircases and elevators. At one communication core is also a sanitary facility with toilets for men, women, for people with disabilities and cleaning room. Two ramps are designed for vertical crossing of cars in the middle of the ground plan. Self-service washing boxes and utility room were designed according to requirements. The second and subsequent floors are identical. There are 161 parking stalls on each floor, 4 of them are for charging electric vehicles. There are also sanitary facilities and a utility room. For the safety of pedestrians, the entire parkade is marked with horizontal roads, thanks to which the employees get from their cars to the communication core and out of the building.
New synagogue Česká Lípa
Marečková, Andrea ; Baranyai, René (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of a new synagogue in Česká Lípa. The solved area is located close to the city center on the site where the original synagogue was burned down during Crystal Night. The boundary of the area is U Synagogy Street, on the north and south sides there are terraced buildings and on the east side there is an embankment with a first-class road. The area used to be behind the city walls, which no longer exist. The design of the synagogue in the Z-V axis and the connection to the U Synagogy road are also important in the design. The negative factor that affects the area, is the busy and dusty road located on the embankment, which creates a visual barrier and divides the city into several parts. For these reasons, the synagogue was located at the intersection of the adjacent streets and as far away from the busy road as possible. The other objects in the design are positioned so that they create a noise barrier and their windows are not turned to communicate. Thanks to the location of individual functions, an inner block was created in the middle of the solved area, intended for rest and meeting of people. The location of the kosher restaurant attracts its location from the adjacent U Synagogy street and at the same time it is turned into a quiet courtyard, where there is a small outdoor seating area. The office building and community center line the embankment on the east side, separating the busy road from the quiet courtyard. These buildings are also facing the courtyard and only the windows of the stairs or background are located on the facade to the road. In the southern part of the area, a ramp leading to an underground car park is proposed, which connects the administrative building with the community center. An important element of the design are the perforated panels located on the facade of the synagogue. The perforation is based on a Jewish star, these are equilateral triangles. Thanks to the perforated panels, privacy
