St. Wencesls cycles of the 14th century in wall painting

The subject of this study is to chronicle and elaborate on the existing cycles depicting St. Wenceslas in 14th century mural painting, in particular, from the iconographic perspective. The cycles in questions are as follows: (i) St. Wenceslas cycle in St. Wenceslas church in Žďár u Blovic; (ii) St. Wenceslas cycle in St. Metthew church in Dobroměřice; (iii) St. Wenceslas cycle in Karlštejn castle; (iv) St. Wenceslas cycle in the chapel of "U Kamenného domu" house. The paintings that have been found in books as well as the St. Wenceslas legends are taken into consideration for the purpose of comparison in the areas of formal expression and iconography. The remaining cycles and individual pictures are mentioned only as examples for the comparison of the individual portrayals or with the intent of tracking the St. Wenceslas myth. The content of the study is divided into the following three parts: - In the first part, the evolution of the legends and other sources of myth is introduced with a brief description. Adoption of persons of full age: evolution and comparison of legislation from the General Civil Code to the Civil Code 2012

Thesis title: Adoption of persons of full age - evolution and comparison of legislation from the General Civil Code to the Civil Code 2012 This master's thesis focuses on historical evolution of the legal institute of adoption of persons of full age, also known as adoption of an adult or adult adoption. This legal option returned to the Czech family law after more than 60 years of legal history, during which it was prohibited with regard to the former understanding of adoption. The restoration of adult adoption to the Czech legislation was caused by one of the main principles on which the new Civil Code is based, and that is a return to traditional understanding and interpretation of family law within European continental traditions. The first part of this thesis deals with historical evolution of the legal option to adopt an adult person since the ancient Rome epoch, where this institute came from. The adoption had a totally different purpose compared to these days. It served especially the needs of an adoptive father, who wanted to have a successor of his own kin and heir. The analysis of autotransfusions carried out in the FN Motol

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis includes information connected with the autologous taking, the production of the autologous transfusion preparations and the protection of quality of the autotransfusion, also basic information about blood groups, which are the integral part of the transfusion medicine. The practical part is divided into three main parts. The first part deals in more detail with the issue of blood taking for autotransfusion and with the examination connected to autologous blood. The second part contains the statistical figures about the autotransfusions carried out in the Blood Bank Department of FN Motol. It examines the quantity of taken and expired transfusion preparations of patients indicated for the autologous blood taking from the orthopaedics department in total knee and hip joint endoprosthesis and from the urology department of pacients before prostate operations and transformation of gender from male to female. The third part consists of the quality control and the protection of quality of the autologous transfusion preparations. The practical part is based on statistical materials provided by the Blood Bank Department of FN Motol of the year 2011.
