Women awareness and attitude to breast cancer prevention in Hradec Kralove

Bachelor's thesis deals with awareness and attitudes of women in the prevention of breast cancer. The samples are women in the area of Hradec Králové region in different age categories. The theoretical part includes anatomy and physiology of the mammary gland, types of breast cancer, including diagnostic and therapeutic methods. It also examines the risk factors and possibilities of prevention of breast cancer. The empirical part contains quantitative survey, which determines the interest of women and women's attitude towards the prevention of breast cancer, breast self-examination, knowledge of mamography screening. It also explores the knowledge of risk factors and presence of risk factors in a group of respondents. Research sample consists of 94 women aged from 20 to 80 years.

Perioperative hypothermia is defined as a decrease in body core temperature below 36 řC. This decrease is associated with an increase of perioperative and postoperative complications with consequent prolongation of the hospitalization. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part describes the problems of perioperative hypothermia, possibilities of preventive measures and nursing care in gynaecological operations. The results of body temperature measured in 70 patients are analyzed in empirical part. The patiens had gynaecological problems and were operated more than 90 minutes.
