This diploma thesis is dedicated to the bank valuation. In the theoretical part all specifications of bank as a subject of valuing and also usual methods of bank valuation are mentioned. The practical part provides valuation of chosen commercial bank which is J & T BANKA, a.s. The main steps to find bank market value are financial analysis, strategic analysis and financial plan. At the end the value is determined by income based valuation and bond pricing model.

The aim of this thesis is to calculate the market value of the Tatra banka, a.s. The first part is aimed at the specific features and methods of valuation of the banks. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to perform a financial analysis of the company VAPOS, spol. s r. o., and evaluate its overall financial situation for the period 2010 - 2015. The thesis is divided into two parts - methodological and practical. In the methodological part, there are determined and described methods of the financial analysis, which are subsequently used in the practical part. The practical part contains the financial analysis of the company itself, which includes horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios, bankruptcy and creditworthy models and additional analysis. Moreover, values of selected financial ratios are compared to average values of industry. The practical part also includes also basic information about the company and description of the history.

This bachelor thesis's goal is to conduct a financial analysis of the company Mlékárna Valašské Meziříčí, spol. s r. o. for the period 2011-2015 and forecast its financial results for 2016. With this intention, the thesis contains several chapters. To begin with, the methodical part explains ratios and other methods used to perform the financial analysis. Next, the practical chapter consists of vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of financial ratios, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and also subchapter with forecasted dairy processor's results for 2016. The sources for this thesis are public year-ending financial statements, annual reports, company's webpage etc.

The thesis aims to determine the value of the company Mlékárna Hlinsko, a.s. at December 31st 2014 at the nett value. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts and practices in the field of business valuation. In the practical part follows the introduction of the company in terms of its operations, history and ownership. The strategic analysis describes the current development of the market, its prediction and competitive position. This part continues with financial analysis, which aims to determine financial health of the company. On that basis, it is decided about the infinite duration of the company. There has been chosen yield valuation method. It continues with analysis and forecast of value drivers and a financial plan. It is followed by valuation itself.

The main objective of this thesis is the valuation of distribution rights of the company TROJA MOTO s.r.o.. Derivative goal is the specification of an intangible asset (distribution rights), including a comparison of benefits and costs that result from the usage of this right for the company. For the valuation of distribution rights, I apply the valuation method of multi-period excess-earnings, which is suitable for the valuation of specific intangibles. The main part are the strategic and financial analysis, which are important basis for the financial plan. The final chapter includes the calculated value of distribution rights themselves.

Company valuation is done based on the DCF entity method using other supporting methods.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the company Tank ONO Ltd. independent buyer for the date 31. 12. 2014. The work consists of a theoretical part, which provides the theoretical bases to the process of valuation and the practical part. The practical part shows the practical application of theoretical knowledge to a specific company and is made up of strategic and financial analysis, followed by generators of values and financial plan. In conclusion, the valuation of the company itself, for which it has been used as the main method DCF Equity and additionally capitalized earnings method.

Quantification of human life and health harms

This thesis gives a view on legislation conserning valuation of human health and life damages in the Czech republic. The aim is to provide a summary and a comparison of laws and other legislative documents and evaluate conditions of reimbursement determination. The paper also gives a basic outline of theoretical ways of valuating human health and life and their connection with reimbursement in accordance with czech legislation.
