Electronic instrument for environment monitoring during plants growing
Žák, Jaromír ; Kuchta, Radek (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The main goal of this project is to make electronic instrument for monitoring environment during plants growing for Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno. The new device will replace current analog recorder of temperature and humidity. New device will be extended by measuring atmospheric pressure, illumination and CO2 concentration. Main advantage of electronic measuring is better lucidity of gained values. New concept allows easier comparison new values with earlier measured data.
Temperature stabilization system
Brtáň, Filip ; Kuchta, Radek (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
This project deals with design of universal system for temperature stabilization using a Peltier device, controlled by microcontroller. The result of this work is an autonomous equipment with automatic tuning of regulation constants, calculation of temperature stabilization limits, possibility of setting required modes and with interface for connection to PC. The regulator stabilise temperature with an accuracy of 0,1 °C within the range of temperature from 0 to 60 °C.
Microelectronics Time-Space Authentication Techniques
Jaroš, David ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Sýkora, Jiří (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
This dissertation work focusses on using information about the location of the user during the authentication process on computer networks. With the growth of mobile computer devices over the last two decades the physical location of users is becoming one of the main issues for access management. This work researches existing solutions which are divided in to two groups related to the source of location information (SATNAV systems for example GPS and based on communication with active infrastructure such as GSM, Wi-Fi). This work shows the methodology for evaluating authentication data which use the principle of fuzzy logic. In comparison with binary logic it is possible to evaluate authentication data accurately. As a result of the authentication process the information is of a higher value, which can be taken into account when setting the levels of user privileges. An important aspect of working with location information is that the user is located in the same place and from where they are asking for access to the system. Solving this question could be linking user biometrics for example finger prints. This principle is used in two types of microelectronic authentication terminals which were developed in conjunction with this work. The first type of terminal uses a SATNAV receiver and an ISM wireless communication module as a source of location information. On the first type of authentication terminal newly developed authentication techniques were tested. The users biometrics are checked by finger print sensor with embedded processing. In the second type authentication terminal a Wi-Fi and GSM module were added for location purposes. In the conclusion of this dissertation the testing methodology of the data authorization and evaluation process of the second type of microelectronic authentication terminal is shown. This confirms the practicality of the suggested methodology and the time-space information in the authentication process.
Recognition of electrochemical signals using artificial neuronal network
Šílený, Jan ; Kuchta, Radek (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
Automatical electrochemical measurements are sources of large data sets intended for further analysis. This work deals with classification, evaluation and processing of electrochemical signals using artificial neural networks. Due to high dimensionality of input data, an autoassociative neural network (AANN) is used in this work. This type of network performs dimensionality reduction via filtering the input data into relatively small number of principal parameters at the bottleneck output. These extracted parameters can be used for classification, evaluation and additional modelling of analyzed data trough the reconstructive part of this network. Furthermore, this work deals with implementation of a feedforward neural network in OpenCL language.
Internet application to show data from the wireless temperature measuring system
Procházka, Stanislav ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
Within this bachelor work the design of the Internet applications was created. It can be used for administration, archiving as well as presentation of data acquired from the coordinator of the temperature sensor network. The system is based on temperature measurement and it consists of the temperature sensor network, coordinator of sensor network and the Internet applications. The coordinator of sensor network collects data from wireless sensors and delivers them to the computer unit. Subsequently the Internet applications evaluate these data.
Lighting control system using a wireless communication network
Levek, Vladimír ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create and describe the wireless system for lighting control. A part of the work is the creation of modules for switching lighting and the creation of their operating programs. The first chapter briefly describes the way how the lighting control works and contains general requirements for the intelligent home. Further, there is a description of IQRF system, which serves as a wireless platform for the system. Next part of the thesis describes individual modules in terms of hardware and software. One part of the work covers the description of the transmission protocol. The attachment includes a listing of all operating programs for this wireless control system.
Onboard computer for status and functional parameters evaluation of internal-combustion engine
Jaroš, David ; Legát, Pavel (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and realization of the onboard computer for evaluating functional parameters and status of the gas engine. Designed solution is consisted of two main parts. The first part is measuring unit whose obtains actual information on engine especially consumption of fuel, rotate per minutes and temperature of engine head. The second part of the solution is formed by pocket computer with appropriate software. The application for the pocket computer processes data from the measuring unit and from GPS receiver, which is integrated in pocket computer. Wireless bluetooth technology is used for data transfer between measuring unit and pocket computer. The application in pocket computer displays and records each of obtained and computed data.
DC motor controller module
Duz, Aleksei ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and creation of control unit for DC motors drives. A principle on which the DC motor is based, a method of its control and a possibility to obtain current information about the position are briefly described in this work. After that, the different types of buses for communication with a superior system and justification of the chosen one, are presented. In the next section, there is a special emphasis on creation of the suitable driver model and a design of the elecrical schematic and PCB. The end of the thesis contains a description of commission a PCB and testing the main functions.
