Pedestrian bridge in Staré Město
Němec, Martin ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis “Pedestrian bridge in the village Staré Město” is focused on reinforced concrete of pedestrian bridge for walkers and bikers. The pedestrian bridge we can find on the river called Krupá. The structure is considered as a frame. The goal of the work is suggest a horizontal part of the frame and supporting wall. Calculations were made in the program called Scia Engineer. Appraisals were made by hand.
Pedestrian bridge in Příbor
Škrachová, Ivana ; Nečas, Radim (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is about a concept of pedestrian bridge across the river Lubina in city Příbor. For final design of pedestrian bridge was made three preliminary designs of constructions and one of them was choosen for detailed processing, assessment and making drawings. The choosen variant is made as prestressed concrete's beam with parapets. For calculation of internal forces was used Scia Engineer Software. Assessment was made by method of ultimate and serviceability limit state. A process of constructio's works are not going be treated in this work.
Analysis of a plan curved cable stayed and suspension footbridges
Koláček, Jan ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the doctoral thesis focuses on the static and dynamic analysis of a plan curved cable stayed and suspension pedestrian bridges suspended on a single-side of their deck. The first part of this thesis deals with an analysis of the equilibrium in the transversal direction of a deck cross section suspended on a single-side. The section and its arrangement should be designed so that the torsion caused by the deck self-weight and dead load would be minimal. This theory was verified on a simple study of a single-sided suspended section with and without prestressing. Second part of the thesis deals with the design of a study of a plan curved cable stayed pedestrian bridge. The study describes in detail a finding of an initial state of the structure and the static and dynamic analysis performed by software ANSYS. The static analysis describes the response of the structure on the most frequent variable loads only, but not design of dimensioning according to the valid codes. The dynamic analysis verifies a predisposition of the structure to the vibrations and others harmful oscillation effects. The next objective of the thesis was to design a study of a plan curved suspension pedestrian bridge suspended on a single-side. A process of an analysis of these structures has not found in any available references. Especially, the finding of an initial state of a suspension cable has not been documented anywhere and by anybody. The study was analyzed with the same geometry as the cable stayed variation in order to compare both structures. The static and dynamic analysis was performed, too. The last part of the thesis describes the verification of structural solution on a fully functional model in a 1:10 scale, proposed process of the initial state finding, response of the structures on the loading and ultimate load test. The important step is the comparison of the results of the completed physical model and the calculation model.
Pedestrian bridge across the river Svitava
Bezručová, Kristína ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the design and analysis of pedestrian bridge across the river Svitava. Three variants were designed. The variant of one-span frame construction with a parabolic haunch was chosen for analysis. The calculation of load effects was made in software Scie Engineer. For evaluation was used MS Excel. The design and assessment are according to the europien standards. The time dependent analysis is not treated in this work.
New family house in Poříčí nad Sázavou
Figuli, Juraj ; Perla, Jan (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis involves design and assessment of the supporting elements of a two-storey family house ceiling construction. The slab components are pairs of beams and translations. I have choose two variants of solution for a long span elements. The first variant includes reinforced concrete elements only and in the second one prestress is used for beams, because of reducing construction height requirements. The basic model was evaluate by the calculation program Scia Engineer 2013, so I made 2D model of a slab in the program and joined 1D elements to the slab like a ribs. Selected prestress reduces a construction height, so it matches the desired appearance.
Reinfoced concrete bridge over the Budišovka river
Sehnalová, Markéta ; Požár, Michal (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design of a single-span reinforced concrete slab bridge. Two variants of cross-section of the bridge were considered – rectangular and trapezoid. The rectangular one was chosen for further design. The wall-slab model was created using calculation software Scia Engineer 16.1. The structure is supported by pot bearings.
Pedestrian bridge over the Dyje river in Břeclav
Tomášková, Eliška ; Kulhavý, Tomáš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is the design and analysis of a concrete suspension footbridge, primarily focusing on the supporting structure. The strucutre was modeled in Midas Civil for longitudinal analysis, and additional model using SCIA Engineer was created to analyze the structure in a transverse direction. Assessment was done in line with valid standards.
Continuous box girder bridge over the valley
Haluška, Ľuboš ; Svadbík,, Petr (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this Diploma thesis is focused on a design of the road bridge between Brodzany and Partizanske municipality, spaned the Valley. The design is processed in three preliminary designs. Selected variant is a continuos girder box with inclined walls, post-tensioned by bonded cables. Structural analysis includes the influences of construction by TDA method. The sctructure is assessed for temporary and permanent states. Design and check were carried out according to EC.
Model of a prefabricated footbridge for teaching
Gaidos, Daniel ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was to design a test model of a foot bridge built out of sets of blocks, coupled by prestressing monostrands into one beam. Created model will serve as a test model during the training of machinists on tensioning equipment. Static model for results from load cases was created in Scia Engineering 20.0. Assessment and dimensioning were solved in the MS Excel program. The structure was assessed for the limit state of load-bearing capacity and serviceability. Analysis and calculations are compliant to up-to-date codes and respect the fundamentals of analysis due to limit states.
Frame bridge
Kapsa, Štěpán ; Velešík, Marek (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The work deals with the design of a single-pole frame structure of a road bridge, which is based deeply on piles. Due to the size of the span of 26 m, additionally prestressed cables are designed in the supporting structure. The structure is analyzed by a three-dimensional bar model and assessed for serviceability and load-bearing limit states in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Part of the design is a study of the influence of supporting the computational model and a comparison of the effect of active and resting earth pressure on the structure.
