Street View Mapping Using the Sensory Mobile Platform
Győri, Adam ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Veľas, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to develop a web application that facilitates viewing of panoramatic photographies while having an optional map background. Application works for usage of surveyors, mainly for pasportization of buildings and grounds. Main aim of the application is to simplify inspection of recorded image data. Solution consists of visual display of view and creating of switchable map background.
Model Train Controlled by Microcomputer
Kavánková, Iva ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about controlling model trains by camera. It deals with the analysis, design and implementation of the embedded system for modeling track management. The main part is image processing in real-time and following evaluation. Designed and realized product contains model railroad with sensor, which are controlled by open-source platform called Arduino Mega 2560 and microcomputer Rapsberry Pi 3 model B. Final system was implemented in programming language Wiring and scripting language Python.
Mobile App for Monitoring the Condition of Bike Parts
Kotoun, Josef ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The thesis deals with the creation of a mobile application that allows to monitor the condition of bicycle components.  The application is implemented in React Native, Firebase services are used for data storage and authentication. The resulting solution provides the user with the ability to record mileage and ride time for individual components and bikes, and to record the state of wear and services performed on components. Mileage and ride time are obtained from the ride records, which the user can enter manually using a form or sync with their Strava account.  The resulting app is available on Google Play under the name Bike Components Manager.
Interaction Device for Augmented Reality
Pavlenko, Peter ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This master thesis explores interactive augmented reality. The aim is to design, create andtest device, which allows interaction between user and augmented reality. First analyzesaugmented reality, devices for its displaying and necessary calibration methods. Then, onthe basis of acquired knowledge, shows design and construction of few prototypes of devicelike this. Finally it shows experiments to test correctness of the concept.
Mobile Game Using Augmented Reality
Konečný, Adam ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis was to create a game in augmented reality running on iOS operating system. The game is based on the tower defense game genre. The thesis describes augmented reality and its history. The work also describes tools which are necessary to create this project. Following part describes the design and development process of the game. Lastly the thesis deals with the tools available for testing, testing itself and its results.
Wireless Control of Electronic Devices Using Mobile/Embedded Device
Hekrdla, Lukáš ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the design of a system that communicates with a mobile phone using Bluetooth technology and is primarily used to send notifications of incoming calls and SMS messages. The system consists of an LCD display on which alerts are displayed, a bluetooth module that provides communication between the display and the mobile phone and a mobile application that controls everything. The resulting system was verified to perform these functions.
Robot Programming in Augmented Reality
Sabela, David ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis was to develop an application, which would allow its users to program robotic actions with the help the augmented reality. The application is of demonstrative character and is made with the goal of intuitive handling and good integration of the augmented reality. This experimental application enables users to design a program for a robot using visual instructions, conditions and links and to test it by visualizing the passage through the program. The application is implemented with the use of Unity3D and the AR Foundation technology. The result was tested by a group of volunteers, whose feedback can be considered generally positive.
Game in Virtual Reality
Čeleďa, Jan ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
Headsets for virtual reality registered noticeable progress in the last few years in bothavailability for a wider audience and in innovation. New technologies are bringing in a lotof changes and upgrades in the manipulation of user perception with virtual worlds, higherquality image and better power supply. The goal of this work was the creation of an actiongame in virtual reality. It is a simulation of duck hunting with a double-barreled shotgun ina rural environment. During the development, we focused on authentic gun handling andoperation. The headset chosen for this was the HTC Vive. The application is created in afree engine named Unity and is coded in the C# language.
MOOC - Massive Open Online Course - for FIT
Peška, Michal ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes relatively new educational trend - Massive open online course. It is focused on its overall development and evaluation. There are introduced web platforms, which are providing these courses. These platforms are closely specified and there are gathered knowledge about them for use in the rest of this work. Following parts of thesis are focused on design and realization of a tool for collaborative studying in a real-time. This is an experiment to determine, if this concept of education is possible and what means aresuitable for use.
Light Soure with Wireless Control
Martinka, Václav ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a lighting which can be controlled wirelessy by any user device with Wi-Fi. The bachelor thesis describes the selection of components and their connection. Also describes a library for a Wi-Fi module, a way how to communicate over the network and design a user interface. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype placed on the printed circuit board.
