Multilayer neural network
Kačer, Petr ; Klusáček, Jan (referee) ; Jirsík, Václav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis describes the basics of issue of multilayer neural networks and explains principle of backpropagation algorithm. Next part of thesis is about development of a software for learning and testing multilayer neural networks and describes its graphical user interface. Last part of thesis is dedicated to tutorial examples and practical demonstrations of multilayer neural network usage.
Forex automated trading system based on neural networks
Kačer, Petr ; Honzík, Petr (referee) ; Jirsík, Václav (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to create forex automated trading system with possibility to add trading strategies as modules and implementation of trading strategy module based on neural networks. Created trading system is composed of client part for MetaTrader 4 trading platform and server GUI application. Trading strategy modules are implemented as dynamic libraries. Proposed trading strategy uses multilayer neural networks for prediction of direction of 45 minute moving average of close prices in one hour time horizon. Neural networks were able to find relationship between inputs and output and predict drop or growth with success rate higher than 50%. In live demo trading, strategy displayed itself as profitable for currency pair EUR/USD, but it was losing for currency pair GBP/USD. In tests with historical data from year 2014, strategy was profitable for currency pair EUR/USD in case of trading in direction of long-term trend. In case of trading against direction of trend for pair EUR/USD and in case of trading in direction and against direction of trend for pair GBP/USD, strategy was losing.
Surgical treatment of mortal complications of acute myocardial infarction as basis of secondary ischemic heart disease prevention
Kačer, Petr ; Adámková, Věra (advisor) ; Táborský, Miloš (referee) ; Velemínský, Miloš (referee)
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) represents the leading cause of death in the Czech Republic. The principles of the secondary prevention of CVD are well-known, precisely elaborated and highly effective. Myocardial infarction may be accompanied with mechanical complications. One of the later is a post-infarction rupture of the free wall of the left ventricle (FWR) resulting in high mortality rates during hospitalization (60-90%) and surgery (11.8-61%). Due to the rarity of the diagnosis, the surgical treatment and its secondary preventive effect on the patients' life have not been described sufficiently. The aim of the work presented was to describe and evaluate the methods of surgical treatment of FWR as a basis of prevention of secondary FWR by means of analyzing a set of FWR patients (comprising two groups as per the actual FWR form) concentrated on the patients' performance evaluated by the ejection fraction (EF) of the left ventricle (LV) and self-sufficiency, and suggesting an optimum FWR treatment strategy emphasizing the function preservation of LV - the tertiary prevention of the rupture of the free wall of the LV. The study comprises a set of 19 patients, i.e. 11 (57.9 %) males and 8 (42.1 %) females, who underwent surgery in the IKEM Heart Center between 01. 01. 2006 and 31. 12. 2012. The RLK...
Odolnost k houbovým chorobám odrůdy Tramín červený, pěstované v systému bioprodukce, v porovnání s vybranými interspecifickými odrůdami révy vinné
Kačer, Petr
The task of the thesis, focused on disease's symptoms of Plasmopara viticola (BERK et CURT.) BERL. et de TONI, 1888, Erysiphe necator BRAUN, TAKAMATSU, 2000 and Botryotinia fuckeliana (de BARY) WHETZEL, 1945 on Vitis vinifera L. plants, was done in 2 stations. The variety Traminer was compared with interspecific ones Savilon, Rinot and Vesna. The Traminer was compared either with or without treatment by ecological fungicides together with untreated control. The results about spreading of fungi diseases Botryotinia fuckeliana (de BARY) WHETZEL, 1945 were insufficient in order to find out the dependency. The mycelium with konidiophores appeared in both observed varieties of Traminer. The strong rains in August was the main factor of pathogen's occurence. Due to weather conditions of the 2015 the pathogenes Plasmopara viticola (BERK et CURT.) BERL. et de TONI, 1888, Erysiphe necator BRAUN, TAKAMATSU, 2000 were not observed, that's why the data about occurence of those pathogens are missing. The damage of the varieties Savilon and Rinot was caused by extreme level of sunshine and high temperatures, not by the fungi pathogenes. The variety Vesna did not show any damage caused by those factors.
