Image registration
Jindra, Jakub ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Krátká, Lucie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with various methods of image registration in the medical treatment. The criterias are elaborated for selecting the correct method of registration. This work describes parameters for proper transformation, identification, registration proces, a final assessment of registration for its approval and the corresponding evaluation. Some basic programs have already concerned with image registration and they are accompanied by basic information. This semester thesis also describes the basics of working with MRI and the creation of anatomical atlas from the magnetic resonation rat’s brain. In conclusion is described the creation of a simple graphical interface for viewing images of brain obtained from the magnetic resonance. Furthermore, the work deals with the registration of images according freely available programs and the related system of evaluation of these results. The scoring system is processed in a graphical users interface Matlab, where is used histograms, mosaic and evaluation using the cross.
Stress detection
Jindra, Jakub ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
Stress detection based on non-EEG physiological data can be useful for monitoring drivers, pilots, and also for monitoring of people in ordinary situation, where standard EEG monitoring is unsuitable. This work uses Non-EEG database freely available from Physionet. The database contains records of heart rate, saturation of blood oxygen, motion, a conductance of skin and temperature recorded for 3 type of stress alternated with relax state. Two final models were created in this thesis. First model for Binary classification stress/relax, second for classification of 4 different type of psychical state. Best results were reached using model created by decision tree algorithm with 8 features for binary classification and with 8 features for classification of 4 psychical state. Accuracy of final models is aproximately 95 % for binary model and 99 % for classification of 4 psychical state. All algorithms were implemented in Python.
Entity

Membrane Oxygenator
Jindra, Jakub ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Hejč, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of an oxygenator for isolate rabbit’s hearts. In this work is created a mathematical model of the oxygenator and calculate optimal parameters for this application. Design of the construction solution leads to creating a 3D model and print of the oxygenator proposal and creation of the functional prototype. The conclusion of this work is the evaluation of the functionality of the equipment and the discussion of the achieved results.
Stress Detection On Non-Eeg Physiolog Data
Jindra, Jakub
Stress detection based on Non-EEG physiological data can be useful for monitoring drivers, pilots, workers, and other subjects, where standard EEG monitoring is unsuitable. This work uses Non-EEG database freely available from Physionet. The database contains records of heart rate, saturation of blood oxygen, motion, a conductance of skin and temperature. Model for automatic detection of stress was learned on these data. Best results were reached using a model of a decision tree with 25 features. The accuracy of the resulting model is approximately 93 %.

Laser device optimization based on treated types of material.
Jindra, Jakub ; Bomba, Jan (advisor) ; Prajer, Martin (referee)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the use of a laser device focused on quality of a cut. It examines and compares the various intensity settings and motion speed of the laser. Optimal settings is thus determined for assorted kinds of solid wood, wood-based materials and other non-wooden materials.

Faith in Us
Jindra, Jakub ; Cenek, Filip (referee) ; Fajnor, Richard (advisor)
In religious faith I am finding the similar principle to the placebo effect. Placebo effect is associated to human belief and it is so powerful phenomenon that if the new drug in medicine is tested it has to be done through double-blind studies to eliminate the effect of placebo. Without this elimination, even non-working medicaments are having positive impact. In medicine, a placebo is commonly used to cure physiological or psychological problem, to achieve the effect, result. But there are other ways where we can meet placebo and is not it so easily recognized. Placebo can be a message, political doctrine or religious belief. Placebo investigates a mysterious area of effect without apparent cause, it is merely a reflection of our state of mind. Religion wraps its doctrine in sparkly packaging, tinsel, so that it is easily consumable and friendly. But under the wrapping is nothing but a placebo pill, we are attracted to, and which we may or may not believe will work. The pill is nothing, has no content, it is empty. It is in some way false, fake and illusory. But the most interesting part is that works reliably for decades.
