Quality of selected meat products produced in standard and organic quality
JAROŠOVÁ, Martina
The aim of this Master thesis was to compare the presence of used preservation substances and basic ingredients in meat products made in regular and bio-quality. In practical part of the thesis, a polarization measurement was done with the aim to determine whether there is a quality difference between these two production qualities. The obtained data were subsequently processed and statistically evaluated. The statistical evaluation showed that the basic composition of meat products in regular and bio-quality is basically identical in percentage. Furthermore, the frequency of used preservation additives in different foods was statistically evaluated as well. In conclusion, food products in bio-quality showed 0.7 less additive content compared to regular food product, however, the difference was still weighed as statistically insignificant.
Ethical aspects of social work with youth at risk based on deontological and utilitarian ethics
JAROŠOVÁ, Martina
The presented thesis focuses on the ethical aspects of social work with at-risk youth, from the perspective of utilitarian and deontological ethics. The reader gets acquainted with the connection of ethics in social work, with the risky behavior of young people and with the theoretical interpretation of ethical systems. Qualitative research is chosen in the work - a method of interview with several social workers who work with at-risk youth. Based on the results, the thesis analyses the applicability of ethical theories in practice with regard to the specifics of clients, their degree of usability, or what other ethical theories correspond in practice with the actions of a social worker.
Gender Aspects of Social Work from the Perspective of Students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences
JAROŠOVÁ, Martina
"Gender" often refers to gender roles, which means the expected behavior from a given gender. Gender is closely related to gender stereotypes that lead to gender discrimination. Gender stereotypes and prejudices occur to a large extent in social work. Social workers are managing them, and this can lead to an inappropriate assessment of the client's situation. This is because not all social workers are aware of gender stereotypes and prejudices, and they admit. Another opinion is also how social workers perceive gender stereotypes. A large number of workers consider them generally valid and some of them do not. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether there are statistically significant differences in the perceptions of the characteristics of men and women as social workers in the social sciences at the Faculty of Health and Social Studies. Research question: What is the occurrence of gender stereotypes in the Faculty of Health and Social Studies? Hypotheses: Is there a statistically significant difference between social classes in the perception of the characteristics of men - social workers? Is there a statistically significant difference between the social sciences in the perception of the characteristics of women - social workers? Quantitative research strategy, questioning method, anonymous questionnaire technique using semantic differential technique were used. The data obtained was generated using descriptive statistics in MS Excel and hypothesis testing was performed in SPSS using the t-test method. The interviewees attributed attributes to a social worker or social worker who were defined by a semantic differential. Properties (active - passive) were bounded by ranges from positive (1) to negative (5). The results of the research we observe that the field of studying SPVs have a more positive view (with some exceptions) to the social worker / social worker before studying art RPP. Research results can serve as a source of information not only for students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, but also for teachers who can extend their teaching on this issue.
Systém farmového chovu daňků
JAROŠOVÁ, Martina
The topic of my bachelor theses was to study specialized literature followed by the analysis of breeding of fallow deer (dama dama) in farm breeding. In the first part of my theses I focused on the specification of fellow deer, its etology and breeding requirements involving nutrition and zootechnical interventions. In the second part of my work I focused on the management of a herd and the comparasion of information learned from literature to breeding on an existing farm called Mnich. I compared the living conditions offered by farm breeding to those offered in the wild.
Risks arising from breeding and introduction of aquarium snails
Jarošová, Martina ; Vrabec, Vladimír (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
Information was gathered regarding all aquarium and already introduced alien snail species (Gastropods), which are being imported to Europe. For the integrity of the research non-native and aquarium clams (Bivalve) were also included. Profiles of species were created based on collected information and the data were subsequently used for creating questionnaires. Questionnaires of each species were processed by FI - ISK, version 1.19 screening tool. Score of invasiveness risk potential was evaluated for each species individually. Surveyed taxa were divided into three groups according to their scores: low risk, medium risk and high risk. Celetaia persculpta was evaluated as aquarium snail (Gastropods) with the lowest risk for native fauna of Czech Republic. According to the results, Pomacea maculata and Pomacea canaliculata are the aquarium snails (Gastropods) with the highest invasiveness risk potential. The riskiest introduced species is Potamopyrgus antipodarum. Scabies crispata and Hyriopsis bialata are clams (Bivalve) with the least risk for the native fauna of Czech Republic. Corbicula fluminea and Dreissena polymorpha were analyzed as clams (Bivalve) with the highest invasiveness risk potential. By comparing aquarium species with species that were already introduced into Czech nature, I conclude that the aquarium snails (clams) do not represent similar risk like the alien species that were introduced without the share of aquarists.
