Bachelor thesis deals with the competence of paramedical staff in cardiopulmonary resuscitation in prehospital care in terms of emergency medical services and the tools/equipment they use which are of course essential conditions to ensure that the effectiveness of the intervention was for the patient as favorable as possible. In the empirical part, which consists of a quantitative exploratory investigation, knowledge and skills at particular level of competency are compared. It compacts an idea to what extent we use our competencies, and on the contrary, if there are cases we act beyond our competency and responsibility.
