Diploma thesis deals with landscape evaluation of river Vltava on its lower stream in area between Roztoky and Mělník. The theoretical part is focused on definitions of terms associated with watercourse and landscape of river floodplain. This part is describing function of river floodplain, human effect on landscape, shows the issues which are presented in landscape and describe ways of using landscape. Further it is deals with understanding of landscape, pattern of river landscape in art, characterizes the ideal state and negatively affected state of flux and provides approaches to the formation of river alluvium. In the practical part are defined the boundaries of area and done a detail analysis of natural conditions, the historical development and exploitation of river flow at first. The part of project was a creation of method useful for evaluations landscape. Based on in situ examination, area was divided into separate categories according visual quality of environment (landscape). The framework recommendations were created for each area categories and it should lead to conservation and protection the values of the landscape or improve its state. The detailed analysis of landscape evolution in terms of size and shape of areas and land cover was performed with use of historical maps. Thereafter the most affected area by human activity with the worst evaluation was chosen. For this chosen area were developed other analyzes as a base for suggestion of the solution. Due to intensive use of river landscape the concept solution is focused on improve permeability, the habitability and landscape restoration of landscape structures.

Halamová, Jana ; Mužík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šerák, Michal (advisor)
This thesis attempts to describe the area of Leisure Education. It is based on the works of specialists from different fields (education, sociology, etc.) and supplemented by some views and ideas of the author. Leisure Education makes an important part of Adult Education. People who participate in this kind of education spend their leisure time in a valuable and interesting way. Leisure Education brings along personal satisfaction and the feeling of self-fulfilment that are not always achieved at work. Different interests can also help an individual to endure unfavourable periods (e.g. unemployment, retirement, illness) of life. This thesis is trying to deal with the most important aspects of Leisure Education, especially: the terminology used in this area (including English equivalents); kinds, functions, goals, forms and methods of Leisure Education; present circumstances in the Czech Republic and the area of leisure time. The area of Mass Media is also closely associated with Leisure Education and therefore deserves a special attention.

Analyses of the impact of suburban public space revitalisation
Pihera, Václav ; Halamová, Jana (advisor) ; Andrea, Andrea (referee)
This thesis deals with impact of suburban public space revitalization, in this case is the public space Santos Island, a part of forest park. At first it has been researched from the view of experts, by the type and perception, which is this point of research. This uttered hypothesis, that is researched, tells us, that the revitalization of the river Island had a positive impact on the life of inhabitants and visitors, and positive energetic impacts on image and function of this part of forest park. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate these impacts from several points of view of its users with emphasis on potential of locality and to understand the influence. In between the most important aspects belong the choice to spend your free-time with family here, in forest park, where the sports elements are. This elements lead to more healthier life-style and to generation meetings. The social research is perceived from the owner´s side, from the side of Sušice, which hold the responsibility for.
Typology of composite parts of the cultural landscape on sandstone bedrock.
Cimburová, Dorotea ; Veith, Tomáš (advisor) ; Halamová, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with typology of structures built in sandstone bedrock and its relationship to natural conditions, primarily the relief. Its purpose is to compare and evaluate usage of typologies dealing with sandstone structures. Typologies of different authors are therefore at first compared in literature research. Afterwards, its usage is evaluated on the basis of terrain research. The research took place in the model area of Holans ponds. Found structure elements, which use sandstone bedrock, were photographed and then imported into the underlying map using GIS. Another aim is to evaluate the landscape structure in the model area. For this purpose, the geosystem approach is used. It is described in a larger detail in the literature researches. Landscape structure in this approach is divided into primary, secondary and tertiary structure. In this work, primary landscape structure is represented by the relief, secondary by the structures and tertiary by the intangible heritage protection of these buildings. This work deals with an assumption of mutual influence between elements of particular structures. The main emphasis is given on the relation between relief and buildings. To evaluate and confirm the hypothesis of a relation between relief and buildings, the Biogeographical division of Czech Republic II. part and the map of biochore is used. Both of them provide information about relief. Structure elements found in the model area were confronted with the map of biochore in GIS. In this way, the primary and secondary landscape structure of model area is described. To find example of relationship between structures and tertiary landscape structure the Central list of Cultural Heritage of Czech Republic was used. On the basis of terrain research the applications of particular typologies were confirmed and evaluated. It turned out that typologies of some authors are more applicable and suitable in the model area compared to others. Also, the hypothesis that particular elements of landscape structure of the model area interact with each other was confirmed.
Landscape development and landscape values of a selected area in a specified relief type
Učňová, Klára ; Halamová, Jana (advisor) ; Lucie, Lucie (referee)
The submitted thesis deals with landscape analyzing and permanent landscape structures evolution in chosen area with respect to land relief. Also with documentation and evaluation of landscape values (such as medieval field patterns, scattered vegetation, viewpoints, relief, etc.) and last but not least with suggestion of recommendations for future development, including proposal of new development, specific for chosen area. The theoretical part consists of summary of current status. Mainly the elements characterizing landscape of the Czech Republic are defined here. The thesis also describes history of Czech landscape since the Neolithic period and also evolution of medieval field patterns. The landscape aesthetics and its influence to humans from emotional and content point of view is mentioned in the theoretical part as well. In the next chapter there is an evaluation of maps and description of possibilities of their usability for evaluation of landscape evolution. The practical part is about project itself. At first the suitable area based on maps from 1 952 was chosen and their comparison with present state. By maps vectorization (both historical and present one) supported by personal exploration, two map underlays were created. Based on them, the statistical data for evaluation and comparison of land use categories evolution were created. Also the analysis of appearance of given land use categories was performed. Comparison of changes in evolution of balks is the part of the project as well.. One of this thesis purposes was also evaluation of landscape directly on the spot. Based on this evaluation and personal feelings from the area, design for better land usability was created. This design was also economically considered. In discussion at the end of the thesis was determined that epoch around year 1952 was a breakthrough for landscape evolution. After this year, there was a huge decrease of ploughland area. This decrease was replaced by permanent grassland and forests. In the end there is an estimation about medieval field patterns important for landscape in chosen area and also anywhere else.
