This Bachelor´s thesis characterizes the family Anacardiaceae and genus Mangifera. Next parts are focused on the most common cultivars and ways of their use. Concretely it is focus on Mangifera indica. There are described required nature conditions for planting, the most common diseases and pests of mango trees and its fruit. Next chapter is about world production of mango, the biggest world importers and exporters. There is also described the mango trees growing in country with the highest export to the Czech republic and further chapter contains information about mango import to the Czech republic. In the last part of this work is characterized impact of mango planting on nature and local population. This is followed by description of Fairtrade certification of mango.
Social networks as a marketing tool

Social media and networks are a phenomenon these days. Technological developments and the connectedness of the world through the Internet have helped the great expansion of internet marketing. Currently, online marketing on social networks is often used as a tool for companies' marketing communications, as social networks are one of the available channels that allow us to reach literally millions of people. You could say that marketing on social networks is an indirect way of influencing the customer. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is theoretical, in which the basic concepts related to online marketing are defined. The second, methodical part explains the procedures for producing the practical part of the work. In the last, practical part, the work is devoted to the results of the questionnaire investigation and the external analysis of the selected firm. Finally, a proposal is made for a company that starts in this area of marketing.
LGBT Tourism

This bachelor thesis is focused on the new area of tourism, which is called LGBT tourism. LGBT (also known as Queer or Pink) tourism is a part of tourism, which is focused on a special segment of tourists. LGBT segment is typical for special needs and wishes. The LGBT community is group of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people with special characteristics, so supporting organisations, events and LGBT-friendly destinations are described in the thesis too. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe basic characteristics, development and motivation for creation this new area of tourism. It is presented and described on the Czech Republic and also on the global level. People of LGBT community filled in the questionnaires to provide us with their opinion and attitude of LGBT tourism. Retrieved data helps to create the project about appropriate sightseeing for this LGBT segment.
An assessment of the state of forests and forestry in the Czech republic with respect to criteria and indicators of sustainable forest management

Forests fulfil many irreplaceable functions and becouse of that it is neccessary to manage them with all respect to sustainable management to preserve them for the future generations. Current global trend of forest coverage is decreasing. Since 2015, forest coverage descresed from 31,8 % to 30,8 %. Contrary, the forest state in the European Union and in the Czech Republic is more optimistic. Generally, the forest area coverage of EU is 38 % but this representation is slightly unbalanced. Forest management is a complicated process of planning and implementing forest activities, necessary to perform it in sustainable way. Sustainable management is in this diploma thesis evaluated through the system of criteria and indicators estabilished by cooperation of various organisations. It has been set a list of six criteria and its defining indicators. In Europe, this list was adopted in 1998 at the third Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe. Thesis focuses mainly on describing the state of the Czech forests and its development through the last decade, since 2007 to 2016. According to avaible information is realized an assessment of forest area development, ownership structure, forest regeneration, forest categories, growing stock volume, tree species composition and an assessment of certified forest area. Based on processed evaluation is implemented a SWOT analysis appraising main strong and weak aspects and opportunities and possible threats of the Czech forestry.
Agritourism as a contribution to employment in rural areas

This diploma thesis deals with the study of the impact of agro-tourism on employment in rural areas. At first deals with the description of tourism, its basic species and forms. However, the greatest attention is paid to agrotourism, its history, development, negatives and positives, its significance and possible types. The following chapters are aimed at defining rural areas, describing subsidies that help to develop rural areas and also describing the diversification and multifunctionality of agriculture. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis is characterized the issue of employment, unemployment, its causes and impacts. It also provides information on the multiplying effect and the impact of tourism and agro-tourism on employment. The analytical part of the thesis is focused on the contribution of agro-tourism to employment in rural areas. The data needed for this analysis was obtained by means of a questionnaire survey conducted in the South Bohemian Region in agro-tourism farms and in the municipality where the farms belong. The result is that agro-tourism farmers provide other people with jobs on their farms, and thus partly contribute to the employment of the municipality. However, the greatest impact on the number of jobs offered by farms has a season. Agrotourism farms and their activities contribute to the overall development of rural areas, to a greater or lesser extent. And at a certain level they are also involved in the employment of rural municipalities.

Relationship between air transport and tourism in Central Europe

The bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between air transport and tourism in Central Europe. The first part of the thesis describes air transport, the current changes, including liberalization, deregulation, network type hub- and-spoke and point- to-point. The following part is about characterization of low-cost airlines, which are still developing. The thesis describes the cause of origin of low cost airlines and the reason for their incessant development. The analytical part of thesis is focused on seasonal offer flights at selected airports in Central Europe and on the differences in the availability of target destinations during the year 2014. The attention is also paid to the differences of airlines offer between low-cost and network carriers and between large international and small regional airports. The airports were chosen according to their size and the number of passengers and number of flights during year (large international airports, small regional airports, etc.). The data required for this analysis were obtained from the database FlightStats 2014. The database contains details of all flights from all around the world. The results show that the season (mainly the summer) has impact on the airlines offer in Central Europe. The season has an impact on the amount and spatial expansion of flights to various destinations. There is also a boom in regional airports that are associated with the rapidly evolving and emerging low-cost airlines.
