Producing 100 mm caliber shell
Santa, Patrik ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on producing 100 mm caliber shell. It’s a cylindrical component with variable thickness of the wall. Material used is brass CuZn30. After evaluation of different producing options, deep drawing was chosen as the most convenient technology. Semi-finished product is round blank from which, using deep drawing, a cup will be shaped. Subsequently using technology of deep drawing with wall thinning, wall thickness will be reduced to a required dimension. Shearing runs on a hydraulic press FB one 8800 and deep drawing is provided by hydraulic press YW27-1000A. Machines used were selected on the basis of calculated forces. Also a drawing documentation was processed for the last draw and for a mold used for narrowing the orifice.
The options of production of holes at the tube wall
Vysloužil, Oldřich ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor thesis deals with processing and forming of profiles (tubes). In the thesis, the most well-known methods of making a hole in the wall of the tube such as drilling, cutting and milling are introduced. The work is further supplemented by some of the unconventional methods such as Flowdrill, T-drill, or currently the most required machining today – laser cutting. Basic technology process is described for each method, as well as examples of tools and machines are presented. In the end, complete evaluation is presented in the form of an overview of advantages and disadvantages.
Production of sunshade's part
Obořil, Filip ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The work deals with the design of the manufacturing technology for the lateral covering fabrication of the sunshade. The part will be made of aluminium ČSN 42 4004 with thickness of 2mm. A manufacturing series comes to 100 000 per year. Some different manufacturing technologies were analyzed and the most suitable of them - the technology of fine-blanking with pushed edge was chosen. It was chosen the vertical laying of components on a sheet of aluminium roll. For production the servomechanical press XFT 1500 speed from FEINTOOL company was selected. In conclusion, economy of chosen manufacturing technology was evaluated.
Manufacturing of a Component by Using Hydroforming Technology and Its Optimization
Harant, Martin ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The project deals with analysis and optimization of the geometry of the stamped part produced by the pillow hydroforming. The blank consists of two sheets of steel DC01, which is welded by laser beam. The forming process can cause excessive thinning and cracking of the part. By evaluation of mechanical tests is created material model, which is the basis for numerical simulation created in software PAM-STAMP. The outputs are analysis which provide information about critical points, failure pressure, limiting deformations and prediction of springback. Validity of the numerical simulation is verified by comparison with the experimentally obtained data. The comparative criterions are the failure pressure and the material thickness at various locations. Based on the results of the numerical simulation, the optimization of the geometry is created. The optimization uses different values of radius at the crack point.
Possibilities of the Tensile Test
Nevřivý, David ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the possibilities of tensile testing, the parameters of the test specimens, testing machines and the equipment which can be used in this test. Based on the literature review, the thesis explains the test principle, the measurement process and the strain and stress characteristics detected by the test. The thesis then focuses on the test specimens, their geometry, the method of their sampling and gripping into the machine. When describing the machines and equipment used in tensile testing, the thesis explains the functionality of these and their different types. The work also covers special types of tensile tests, namely those using elevated temperature, high-speed deformation, and cyclic or multiaxial stress. The final part of the thesis examines the current trend of evaluating the tensile test using 3D optical measurement systems
Production and processing of tubes
Rytíř, Martin ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis presents the analysis of individual methods used in the production of seamless and seam steel pipes. It is a literature review that describes the essence of individual approaches to production, their comparison and use in the domestic market. In particular, it describes seamless tubes produced by centrifugal casting and a forming method which further divides them into rolling, pressing and drawing, and seams, made of sheets and strips, which are formed into a tube shape and welded by an appropriate method falling under the category of fusion or pressure welding.
Manufacturing of a safety buckle by fineblanking technology
Ryza, Dominik ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a manufacturing technology for the safety buckle. The component is made of steel 11 320. The thickness of the used metal sheet is 3 mm. For the production of the part has been chosen the technology of fine blanking process with pressure edge. This type of manufacturing guarantees the demanded high quality of this special O.E.M. It also makes possible to produce volume up to 700 000 pieces per year. The cutting tool is designed to produce three blanks per one production cycle of the machine. The manufacturing will be done on the triple-action press HFA 3200plus with a feeding line FBA 8/300.
Manufacturing of clip
Melezinek, František ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with technology of clip manufacture, used as connecting segment of clip frame. The molding is made out of 0,3 mm metal sheet and includes a number of bends and shaped cuts. Based on analysis of suitable production metods and size of series of 300 000 pieces per year, progressive combined tool was chosen as the best option. The part will be made in eight steps combining cutting and bending. For semi-finished product was used 53,4 mm wide roll of sheet metal. As material was choosen spring low alloy steel 51CrV4. Based on calculated force 43kN and work 15kJ the part will be produced on universal hydraulic press CUPS 6,3 DEU manufactured by HŠV stroje a.s.
Methods and Devices for Friction Coefficient Measuring
Král, Lukáš ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on methods and equipment for measuring the friction coefficient. First, it presents the effects on some solid and flat forming processes. Subsequently, it gives a brief overview of individual technological methods of measurement and contains a basic description of construction of the most used tribometers.
Punching technology
Králíček, Václav ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis is focused on punching technology, technology which can create complex-shaped parts from sheet metal. The thesis contains description of the principles of punching, emphasis is put punching tools and various production methods, which can be performed using modern punching machines. Part of this thesis is focused on comparison between punching technology and laser cutting. The comparison is shown on two different semi-finished products made from stainless steel by ACO Industries k.s. These semi-finished products are compared from the point of view of production accuracy and manufacture speed.
