Analysis of the electrical power measurement system in the local distribution network Pod Palackého vrchem
Hájková, Barbora ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Jurák, Viktor (advisor)
The diploma thesis introduces a detailed analysis of the local distribution system (LDS) Pod Palackého vrchem (PPV) in the Brno, parameters of power transformers and cable routes between them. The elements of the electrical network that are influencing the balance of reactive power are described along with its sources and appliances. In the next part is defined the present concept of long-term measurement in the LDS by using current and voltage sensors. This part deals with calculations of power losses in the power transformers and the cable lines together with uncertainties concerning power measurement in the field of energetics. The essential part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the temporary measurement implementation in the LDS, data processing along with the comparison of measured values from temporary measurement with values from permanent measurement. In conclusion, the error of the system is determined.
Traffic engineering design of Přímá-Nábřeží intersection in Zlin
Hájková, Barbora ; Dorňák, David (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with a solution of a complicated traffic situation on the Přímá – Nábřeží intersection in Zlin. The first part of the thesis focuses on the diagnostic of the current state of the junction. In the second part, the author compares possible solutions, traffic light control is chosen as the best. Traffic light plans are designed and coordinated with a nearby traffic light controlled intersection Tomáše Bati – Přímá. It the last part, the solution is verified and represented by a microsimulation.
Ionizing Radiation, Residual Heat Generation, and Inventory of Spent Nuclear Fuel
Hájková, Barbora ; Šťastný, Ondřej (referee) ; Katovský, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with ionizing radiation, residual heat generation, and inventory of spent nuclear fuel. It introduces types of ionizing radiation and half-life of isotopes, which are contained in the nuclear fuel. Furthermore, using code UwB1, a simulation of the burning of nuclear fuel used at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant from the introduction of fuel into the reactor to its storage in deep repositories in 2065, is carried out.
Valuation of a Selected Group of Company Assets
Hájková, Barbora ; Čevelíková, Eva (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis compares the methods of an inventory valuation. The followed methods are continuously calculated arithmetic mean, FIFO and internal stable price. As the part of the thesis the model example review their advantages and disadvantages. The output of the thesis is selecting the most suitable method for a given company and making the further recommendations.
Modern trends in the supporting structures of cranes
Hájková, Barbora ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis presents the critical research on the bearing constructions of cranes with a special focus on the tower cranes. It explains the basic terms related to the crane construction and its parts. The aim of this work is a critical evaluation of the future trends.
The family and its depiction in the past and present
Hájková, Barbora ; Daniel, Ladislav (advisor) ; Fremlová, Vendula (referee)
The family is the center of interest in contemporary society, which approaches it socially, politically and philosophically in different ways, especially the current social and interpersonal situation. It has long been one of the valuable subjects of art. Its depiction has a long history and never-ending inspirational power. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the topic of the family, its position from a sociological and historical point of view, as well as its depiction across the art of the past and present. Specific artists of the past who worked with the theme of family, were inspired or depicted their own family are listed here in more detail. It also includes modern and contemporary art, their different approach and grasp of the theme of family. The didactic part deals with how to sensitively approach this topic to today's children's audience and integrate it into art education lessons. In the practical part, I work with the theme of family, a kind of album will be created, a collection of works that are closely connected with my own family. A set of drawings, photographs, collages supplemented with incidents or statements of individual family members. The whole album will form a kind of complete picture of my family. The ensemble Blatenští dudáci ZUŠ Blatná
HÁJKOVÁ, Barbora
The history and present of an ensemble which is called Blatenští dudáci ZUŠ Blatná is the main topic of this bachelor´s thesis. The first part is focused on the history and the development of backpipes and bagpipe music in South Bohemia. Further, the thesis deals with the history of music school in Blatná, the formation of an ensemble, the transformation of the ensemble in the course of time, character of the performances, foreign tours, folk costumes and the repertoire. The ensemble was formed in 1987 on the initiative of Josef Škanta the director of primary art school. The current activities of Jana Janovská and Martin Škanta, the two most important members of the ensemble, are mentioned in individual portraits. Martin Škanta concentrates on adapting folklore for bagpipe ensemble in traditional style, as well as on enriching the bagpipe repertoire with new compositions and adjustment of current popular songs in modern style.

Talismans - Luck vs Bad luck
Hájková, Barbora ; Levínská, Markéta (advisor) ; Bittnerová, Dana (referee)
The main goal of this work is to approach a problem of talismans. We will concern with the history of talismans and their examples of today. We will mean resources of using talismans. There will be information about magic thinking, because the magic comes from it. We will show the complicacy of this problem. The core of this work is the empiric research, which is based on ethnographic principles. We will adhere to the grounded theory of Strauss and Corbin. The research is related to children with educational problems. We will focus on evocations, which children have about talismans and their experiences with it. Information will get mainly through the interview with children. Research indications will be confronted with literary knowledge, which are in relationship to talismans.
Influence of catchment spatial subdivision on the accuracy of the snow accumulation and snowmelt model
Hájková, Barbora ; Jeníček, Michal (advisor) ; Šípek, Václav (referee)
Influence of catchment spatial subdivision on the accuracy of the snow accumulation and snowmelt model Abstract This thesis is focused on influence of catchment spatial subdivision on the accuracy of rainfall-runoff model simulations. A hydrological model HEC-HMS developed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was applied in the thesis. Study area includes two experimental catchments; Bystřice River basin and Zlatý Brook basin. Both catchments are located in the Krušné Mountains. The research in catchments has been carried out by the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology since 2008. The influence of four different horizontal and vertical catchments delineation on runoff simulations was analyzed. The simulations were performed in two two-year periods 11/2008-10/2010 and 11/2010-10/2012. The attention was mainly aimed to snowmelt component of the model, for which temperature index method was chosen. The results of simulations were compared with water stages data measured in catchments outlets and with data from winter field measurements (snow depth and snow water equivalent). The results from both catchments showed that higher accuracy of simulation of the snow water equivalent was reached by dividing the catchments into more elevation zones. However, each of the catchments behaved in different way. The...
