Variable Intake manifold for 16V Engine
Konečný, Lukáš ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Aim of the diploma thesis is to design intake ducting with variable cross-section for 16V diesel engine consisting from divided intake manifold and divided ejector. Cross-section variability is ensured by a swirl flap placed in the divided ejector. Next aim of thesis is to provide drawing documentation for production of samples. For designing was used PTC Creo system and software GeomCaliper. Also was taken account of manufacturing of the parts with sand-casting, especially to guarantee trouble-free taking out of models from the moulds, and taking out of cores from core moulds, and also for machinability of some elements. Introduction of thesis is focused on diesel engine emissions and ways of their reduction.
Balancing Shafts Support Optimalization for Zetor 4V UŘ III Engine
Zemčík, Tomáš ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Rauscher, Jaroslav (advisor)
To make a check of an contemporary balancing verification of diesel engine Zetor UŘ III with type identification 1505, the engine power 90 kW and especially friction bearing design, which could replace existing needle bearing HK 4520 type, is the aim of this diploma thesis. Bearing type modification requires constructional adjustment of engine block and balancing shaft and therefore this proposal for construction another aim in my diploma thesis. The last part of my diploma thesis is an economic balance original imposition against newly designed. Calculations are made using mathematical software MathCad, the balancing shaft is made using ProEngineer software and control calculations of bearing stresses are made with ADAMS and FEM of ANSYS system. Motivation to write this work is to prove the possibility how to decrease manufacturing costs of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. company.
Cranktrain Balancing Analysis of Low-displacement Tractor Engine
Svoboda, Radim ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is determinate the forces in crankshaft mechanism acting on new design engine from company Zetor, assessment of the state of balance, design modifications balancing units, calculation of modal analysis, stress analysis and strain control. The content of the work is the creation of technical documentation for the newly modified balancer shafts.
Research of Progressive Methods for Reduction of Emissions in CI Engine Exhaust Gasses
Franz, Rudolf ; Děrgl, Martin (referee) ; Stodola, Jiří (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The scope of this dissertation work is a description of modern methods of reducing exhaust emission in diesel engines. The fundamental part is the application of these methods for diesel engines for off-road use that means for engines that are used in tractors and road machines. The mentioned evidence for the practical utility of the results of this dissertation thesis in practice and their verification on the actual engine are given in the conclusion.
The Possibilities of Displacement Increase of 4C Zetor Engine
Zloch, Jan ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Diploma thesis aims on mechanical design of new concept of Zetor UŘ III engine with displacement increase and solves calculations of main and pin hydrodynamic bearings of crankshaft. Creo 2 CAD software is used for preparing mechanical design of this new concept. For computation and analysis of hydrodynamic bearings multibody model of crankshaft mechanism is used with flexible FEM model of crankshaft for solving dynamics of mechanism and performing hydrodynamic analysis of bearings in FEV Virtual Engine. Results of this diploma thesis demonstrate the feasibility of new concept of engine and serve as a basis for next engineering tasks before realization of concept.
Redesign of High Pressure Injection Pump Drive with Gear Ratio 1,5
Šulc, David ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The master´s thesis focuses on the redesign of highpressure injection pump drive with gear ratio 0,5 to gear ratio 1,5. The injection pump will be used for diesel engine with four cylinders. The final solution was created by classic procedure. For the redesign were used softwares Autocad Inventor 2012 and ANSYS 14.
Possibilities of 2-cylinder Engine Balancing for Tractor Usage
Vaško, Roman ; Franz, Rudolf (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with possibilities of 2-cylinder engine balancing for tractor usage. The purpose of this thesis is to find a technical solution for the creation of the concept of balancing using balancing shaft. Check the proposed solution by FEM analysis and evaluate the fatigue safety. The content of the thesis is the creation of computational and graphical documentation too.
