Home security system
Martínek, Marek ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The introductory chapters of this work are dedicated to types of object protection, describe the elements of the security systems and the types of sensors that are present in the security systems. The next chapters deal with detectors of other hazards rather than crime and deal with the problem of signal transmission. At the end of the thesis, security system for house or apartment is solved, based on open-source solution in development environment ARMmbed.
Accuracy of mathematical calculations using a wider range of computer programs
Ondrouchová, Adéla ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to describe factors which influence the accuracy of mathematical calculations in programming. Main focus is on floating point number format operations, which is regulated by the IEEE-754 standard. This work includes comparison of some calculations in Matlab and Python and also a demonstration of the influence, that processor architecture has on final results.
Meaning and calculation of the mathematical constant
Geršl, David ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the meaning and methods for calculating the mathematical constant . The theoretical part focuses on the history of the methods for calculating this constant, while the most important ones, such as calculating by integral calculus or power series, are derived in detail in separate chapters. The practical part deals with the computational complexity of individual formulas and their subsequent comparison.
Smart cottage
Sýkora, Martin ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a smart house system. The system is controlled by a logic module SIEMENS LOGO!, which provides object monitoring or continuous temperature measurement. System status is regularly logged. A web user interface has been created to transmit information and control the system by user.
Linear difference equations: stability analysis
Tesař, Lukáš ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Tomášek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with asymptotic stability investigation of linear difference equation. The Schur-Cohn criterion and discrete Routh-Schur criterion are introduced and demonstrated on several examples. Both criterions are implemented in Maple programming enviroment. Boundary locus technique is illustrated on a stability analysis of the Adams-Bashforth method for numerical solving of an initial value problem of first order ordinary differential equation.
Design of automated terrarium
Heczko, Dominik ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of automated terrarium for breeding corn snake. The terrarium will be automated using programmable logic controller Siemens LOGO!. The design of the terrarium, including a description of the concept, selection of components and description of the control program is the main goal of the presented work. The basic theory of logical control and FBD programming were used for our purpose. The automation system was constructed and tested in real conditions finally.
Application of Bessel functions
Lorenczyk, Jiří ; Lomtatidze, Aleksandre (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
The purpose of this work is the introduction to the theory of Bessel differential equation and Bessel functions and its application to the problem of the vibration of a circular plate. In order to tackle this problem succesfully, it is needed to find a solution to the Bessel differential equation in the form of the eponymous Bessel functions and it will be shown how to do so. After that, some characteristics of the obtained Bessel functions of the first kind will be thoroughly demonstrated. Then the other solutions to the Bessel differential equation will be introduced, namely Bessel functions of the second kind, Hankel functions and modified Bessel functions which are obtained as a solution to the modified Bessel equation. In the second chapter, the area of interest will be the application of Bessel functions to the problem of the vibration of a circular plate. However, this problem will be severely restricted since the board will be considered to be perfectly fixed around its circumference, there will be no holes in it and there will be no external force acting on its surface. To solve this problem, it will be needed to make a use of each of the aformentioned Bessel functions.
Integral quality criteria of regulation
Gruna, Jiří ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the assessment of the quality of regulation using integral criteria. In the first part we are interested in the basic theory of regulation needed to understand the problem. It includes a description of the control system, differential equations in the theory of transfer function, types of regulators and addresses the question of stability. In the second part the thesis introduces the integral criteria. Using their area, we assess the quality of regulation. For clarity, the criteria are supplemented by examples to show their advantages and disadvantages.
The Importance of Laplace Transform in Regulation Theory
Kovářová, Karolína ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the significant role of Laplace transform in regulation theory. The theoretical part is dedicated to the properties of this integral transform and the description of the control system. The usage of Laplace transform in search of process variable, step and impulse function is demonstrated on specific examples of oscillation theory. The final part offers a view on Laplace transform using MATLAB software.
Benchmarking of swarm optimization algorithms
Mittaš, Eduard ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with benchmarking of swarm optimization algorithms. First part handles optimization problem and it’s meaning in testing of algorithm’s performances. Next chapter describes the very benchmarking itself, it’s tools and software platforms. Afterwards individual algorithms, which were selected for implementation are described. Following this part is a program realization of solution, selected algorithms, selected testing functions and the data, which is exported by the program. The last chapter deals with results of respective performance tests, in which algorithms solved given testing problems. Eventually these results are evaluated and from them an outcome of efficiency and performance of algorithms is formed.
