This thesis deals with monitoring the feeding of whole grain wheat to broiler chickens and evaluation of the effects of this feeding on the performance parameters of chickens and quality carcass. The monitoring also included the development of the gastrointestinal tract - weight of gizzard and proventriculus, weight of mucous membrane of gizzard, weight the of tpancreas and the length of the small intestine. Experiment was performed on 570 pcs broiler chicken of Cobb 500 hybrids in the period from 10. - 35. day of age. After 10. day of age group number 1,3,5,7,9,11 were fed a granular mixture containing the whole grain of wheat and the group number 2,4,6,8,10,12 granular mixtures as a control experiment. The chickens accepted of feed mixtures: BR2 at the age of 10. - 21. day, BR3 at age of 22. - 28. day and BR4 at age of 28. - 35. day. Into 10. day od age eat all the chickens the same feed mixture BR1. Between the control and experimental group was not statistically significant difference in live weight of chickens. Statistically significant difference wasn't between these groups in feed conversion 10. and 18. day of age. In 25. day of age was statistically significantly (P<0,05) better feed consumption for chickens in the experimental group, on average, 1520,3 g/kg, compared to the control group with the value of the feed conversion 1573,2 g/kg. At the age of 31 days was not statistically significant difference between the experimental and control group and also in 35. day of age at the end of the fattening period. There wasn‘t also statistically significant difference in weight of JUT, weight of abdominal fat, weight of gizzard, weight of mucous membrane of gizzard, weight of proventriculus and weight of pancreas. While in the evaluation of the length of the small intestine have been found conclusive statistical (P<0.05) differences between control and experimental group. In the experimental group was smaller, the length of the small intestine, in averages the males 165.5 cm and females 166,3 cm, compared to the control group, when the males had an average length of the small intestine 173,8 cm and females 169,2 cm. In the evaluation of the influence of gender on the development of the gastrointestinal tract were noted in all parts of the higher statistical conclusive differences among the males. Based on the results we can recommend the feeding of whole grain wheat as part of a compound feed without conclusive effects on performance parameters and quality carcass.

Doležalová, Nikola
This bachelor thesis examines the factors influencing the difficulty of the cattle births. It describes the most important ones, which the farmers can influence by their actions. Thesis evaluates breed and season factor in three selected herds. It also describes pregnancy, proces of parturition, its physiological and pathological course, complications of birth, assistance in birth and subsequent puerperium. At the same time provides a structure of breeds bred in the Czech Republic, nutrition systems, techniques and breeding technology. Finally, it represent a central registration system of data collection about difficulty giving birth, its creation and especially usability.
Immunogenicity of stem cells and their derivatives
Doležalová, Nikola ; Holáň, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kubinová, Šárka (referee)
Immunogenicity of stem cells and their derivatives Nikola Doležalová Abstract Stem cells (SCs) have the potential to be used in regenerative medicine on the basis of their differentiation capacity and promising immunological properties, including low expression of histocompatibility antigens and costimulatory molecules, or secretion of suppressive cytokines. Their immunogenicity has often been ignored in the past but it is becoming clear that rejection of genetically incompatible SCs represents a very common issue. At present, SCs are extensively studied from the immunological point of view, since it represents a critical aspect of the safety of SC therapy. This thesis presents an overview of current knowledge about immunogenicity of SCs and their derivatives, including both pluripotent SCs (embryonic and induced pluripotent SCs) and adult SCs (mesenchymal, limbal, neural, haematopoietic and umbilical cord blood SCs). The expression of immunologically relevant molecules on their surface and interaction with the immune cells in vitro and in vivo will be discussed, together with suggestions for overcoming the immunological barriers for transplantation. Detailed analysis of these aspects necessarily has to precede the safe clinical translation of SC therapies.
Media image of women's beauty in ELLE magazine

The thesis also introduces the development of female magazines and their current role on the Czech market. At the end of the thesis, the campaigns aiming at unreal ideal of beauty in the media are critically evaluated. Mixed research method is used in the thesis; by means of the content analysis the photos of women (in advertisements as well as other pictures) are investigated with emphasis on their characteristics and in connection with the topic of the articles. The semiotic analysis examines the front pages and the message they convey. The aim of the analysis was to determine the most frequent depiction of women and to establish the proportion of articles dealing with appearance.

Doležalová, N.: The issues of inter-cultural partnership and adaptation on czech culture. Bachelor Thesis, Brno: Mendel University, Faculty of Regional Development and Internacional Studies, 2015. Supervisor of Bachelor Thesis Ing. Mgr. Jiří Čeněk. This bachelor thesis deals with the adaptation of inter-cultural partnerships on the czech culture, respectively with the adaptation of foreign partners on the czech culture and their ability to communicate, educate their children, work in the czech environment and to assimilate to the czech culture. Theoretical part describes the terms related to culture, inter-cultural communication and their benefits and injustice. Terms related to nation and national identity are also mentioned. Part of this thesis is devoted to the problems of intercultural partnerships, namely to communication and to the language they speak, also to raising children and bilingualism, to the choice of their residence, to the attitute of people around them and finally to the cultural shock. All these listed issues encounter the majority of inter-cultural partnerships during their cohabitation. The practical part interprets the results of interviews, which were taken with mixed partnerships living in The Czech Republic. These foreign partners are of different nationalities, however the majority of them comes from eastern or southern Europe. Two of the interviewed partners come from The Netherlands. Through these interviews are obtained information about adaptation and assimilation intercultural partnerships on the czech culture.
