Healthy lifestyle and its impact on consumer behavior in gastronomy

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Healthy lifestyle and its impact on consumer behavior in gastronomy. The introduction of the theoretical part is focused on healthy lifestyle and its components- determinants of health, wellness, fitness and mainly the field of healthy nutrition. In the second chapter of the theoretical part there is an analysis of consumer behavior, motivation, goals and needs leading to the purchase process. There are also defined factors affecting consumer to shopping process. The third section is about the gastronomy, catering and forms of catering operations including its regulations. The practical part is based on a questionnaire research, analyzing and studying the consumer behavior, consumer preferences in the selection of restaurants, alimentation and their adherence to the principles of a healthy lifestyle. Based on the research results there is recommendation suggested for catering operators.

Statistical analysis of changes in nutrition and health of Czech Republic population

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the statistical analysis of food consumption in years
1994 to 2014 and its prediction. It is also focused on the development of serious civilization diseases in years 2000 to 2014.
The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to healthy eating, food categories and theirs main components. The theoretical part also describes the nutritional pyramid and dietary guidelines issued by the Nutrition Society. Furthermore, the theoretical part presents demographic indicators and serious civilization diseases associated with a poor diet. The Bachelor thesis also includes demographic characteristics of the Czech Republic population, population consumer expenditure and their health.
In the practical part are, because of the description of the evaluation development analysed indicators, determined their basic fundamental characteristics. The practical part also include the forecasts of analysed food consumption in the next five years. After that are the achieved results discussed with diet recommendations according to whether their consumption is excessive or insufficient. The conclusion contains the results summary of the analysis and defined suggestions and recommendations for change habits of the Czech population regarding proper nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

Statistical analysis of unemployment development in selected region

Bachelor thesis concerns about unemployment in Louny district. Unemployment in this district is under average of unemployment in Usti nad Labem region and is part of districts with lower unemployment rate. There are risk groups, such as people older than 50 years or people who seek employment for more than 2 years. Ratio of those people is still increasing. In perspective of education, most of those people have only elementary education. There is increasing amount of job opportunities from 2010 and the last year there is also increasing amount of employment for graduates or handicapped people. There is great potential in industrial zones in Louny district, which employees a lot of people. One of recommended change is to make the rules of unemployment compensation stricter and bigger support of community work.

Statistical analysis of the market for building savings in the Czech Republic and its perspectives

The subject of the thesis is an analysis the current state of building savings in the Czech Republic and its development in years from 2006 to 2014. In the theoretical part this thesis has general characteristic building savings and basic concepts associated with its. In the practical part this thesis analyses indicators of progress building savings using elemental characteristics of time serie. They are the number of new building savings contracts, contracts in the savings phase, the number of loans, the average target amount for new contracts, the accumulated amount, the proportion of total loans to saved amount and the average state support. Prediction of these indicators in 2017 is calculated using analytical settlement non - periodic time series and then suggestions and recommendations are found for better status of building savings on the market for financial products.

Spas and its role in tourism of the Czech Republic

The bachelor work is focused on the spas and its role in tourism of the Czech Republic. It describes current status of spas in the Czech Republic and analyse detailed description in the selected region. The work is divided into two main parts-theoretical and practical.
Theoretical part is created through literature search. First defines Czech tourism in general, i. e. typology, forms and associations, which are promoting and presenting tourism in worldwide. The next part is dedicated concretely spa tourism, where is described history of the spa of the Czech Republic and offered services to clients within this area. Further natural healing, which is used in our territory for therapy and also issue of reducing the costs of health insurance companies of branch spas and the associated lower attendance and employment.
Practical part is based primarily on a questionnaire survey consisting answers of 90 patients, who underwent treatment in Carlsbad.
Finally is assessed the current state of spa treatments and possible proposals which could improve the situation.

Hospodářský vývoj a postavení Irska v EU

Práce přibližuje hospodářský vývoj Irska,hledá příčiny a následky dlouholeté hospodářské zaostalosti a hlavní faktory ekonomického růstu druhé poloviny devadesátých let. Poté charakterizuje postavení země v Evropské unii z hlediska členství v Evropské měnové unii, vlivu Společné zemědělské politiky na důležitý sektor zemědělství. Zhodnoceno je předsednictví Irska v Radě EU v první polovině roku 2004 a působení regionální a strukturální politiky.
