Lumbar spinal stenosis: changes in the fibrous structures of the posterior spinal column and the rule of the ligamentum flavum
Ježek, Jakub ; Krbec, Martin (advisor) ; Chaloupka, Richard (referee) ; Matějka, Jiří (referee)
The dissertation is focused on lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), because it is a serious desease, that primary affects elderly patients and which often leads to disability. Because the pathophysiology or feasible prophylaxy is not yet fully understood, the first part of the thesis is devoted to the ligamentum flavum (LF), whose changes (hypertrophy and degeneration) are one of the main factors leading to LSS. We focused in this experimental part on changes in the LF properties that could cause its degeneration and hypertrophy - changes in vascularization (investigated as vascular density - Lv), the presence of inflammatory changes and the occurrence of chondroid metaplasia, and then to clarify changes in the LF mechanical properties (stiffness). Vascular density analysis of degenerated and healthy human LF combined with measurement of micromechanical properties was performed. It was found that Lv changes were not dependent on the degree of LSS but were age dependent, that is, LF vascular density declines up until 50 years of age and thereafter changes very little. A significant increased incidence of chondroid metaplasia and clear signs of inflammation in LSS patients were found out. LF samples from LSS patients showed significantly lower stiffness in comparison to samples of healthy patients. The...
The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint abilities in young soccer players (U15)
Chaloupka, Tomáš ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Frýbort, Pavel (referee)
Title: The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint abilities in young soccer players (U15) Autor: Tomá Chaloupka Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kok tejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to verify the effectiveness of a short-term intervention program for sprint speed development in young soccer players (U15). Methods: The research sample included soccer players (15 year old; n=12; 14,2±0,3 years) from the highest competitive level in the Czech Republic. For the interventional effect verification we used several sprint tests (sprint on 5, 10 and 30 meters, shuttle sprint 2x10 meters). Data analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS software version 22. Results: In the experimental group we did not found any significant improvement in the posttest in any individual tests after completion of the short-term speed-oriented intervention. Based on our results we note that we have failed to verify the effectiveness of the short-term intervention program for the sprint development in the young soccer players. Keywords: movement intervention, young, soccer, speed
The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint and agility in soccer players (U16)

Title: The effect of a short-term intervention program for development of sprint and agility in soccer players (U16) Author: Bc. Tomáš Chaloupka Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to verify the effectiveness of two different short- term intervention programs in the development of speed-power abilities in young soccer players (U16). Methods: The research sample included soccer players (16 year old; n=22; 15,2±0,3 years) from the highest competitive level in the Czech Republic. For the interventional effect verification we used tests without the ball (sprint on 5, 10 and 30 meters, Illinois Agility Test, Yo-Yo IRT 2, six jump alternately) and with the ball (sprint on 5, 10 and 30 meters, Illinois Agility Test). Data analysis was performed by using IBM SPSS software Statistics 24. Results: Both groups of players improved in the agility test (r = 0.32; r = 0.40), but these improvements were not statistically significant (p = 0.16; p = 0.06). Group 2 (runs) improved in the ball agility test (p = 0.02; r = 0.49). Both groups were improved in a six jump strength test (group 1 p = 0.02; r = 0.51; group 2 p = 0.08; r = 0.32), but in group 2 improvement was not statistically significant. Both groups were improved in Yo-Yo IRT2 speed endurance (group 1 p = 0.09; r =...

Credit insurance for exports to Latin America
Turčáni, Jakub ; Černohlávková, Eva (advisor) ; Chaloupka, Jiří (referee)
Export is very important for the Czech Republic and great emphasis is placed on its support. Domestic exporters are thus able to stay competitive in foreign markets. An integral part of the state aid funding and the subsequent export credit insurance are state institutions. This insurance is used primarily against political risks that are not insurable by market and basically only EGAP can offer any protection against them. They are also increasingly used for export to Latin America, because the foreign trade turnover with states there is on an upward trend. One of the companies that use EGAP insurance product is Strojimport. Thanks to the experience of this company, I was able to determine the format of the recommended procedure for applying for insurance from EGAP, procedure so important for Czech exporters.
