The third and the fourth chapter are based on analysis and interpretation of the sources and those chapters are fundamental for this thesis. In the third chapter there is indicated the perception of superiority and power which is reflected in hierarchical organisation of Early modern society. The fourth chapter deals with presentation of Rudolph II by symbols used during his triumphal entry into the city. In conclusion of this thesis the authoress summarizes the results of the research. On the basis of the results she answers the questions which she asked herself while writing this thesis. Festivities were welcomed dulcification of daily life in Early modern period. 6 Abstract Title: Influence of targeted physical activity on deep stabilization system Objectives: The aim of the study is to demonstrate the influence of therapeutic interventions on the deep stabilization system using investigative techniques and principles used in physiotherapeutical practice. Methods: This thesis has been characterized as a case study. It is based on an experimental basis in the form of qualitative research. For the research five clients were chosen with problems in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Applying exercise procedures was to show a positive effect on the deep stabilizing system. Following investigative methods were used: anamnesis, examination of static orientation, trigonometric spine examination, assessment of posture, postural stability testing, palpation, flexion of the neck stereotype by Lewit and "S" reflex. Testing was performed twice, at intervals of 4 months. Results: The results showed significant improvement in four out of five clients. Pain, stiffness or paraesthesia cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine alleviated or even disappeared. Postural muscle activation possession and corset improved. Válová, Karolina ; Grauová, Šárka (advisor) ; Burianová, Zuzana (referee) ; Špánková, Silvie (referee)
The dissertation under the title Transformations of the Concept of House (An Analysis of the House in the 20th Century Portuguese Novel) endeavours to map the concept, portrayal and primarily the transformations of the space of a house, which is at the same time interpreted as an archetypical space universal in the 20th century Portuguese novel. Following the introduction and a summary of various literary theory approaches to the analysis of a house, Chapter 2 focuses in particular on a topological analysis and an analysis of the symbolic space. The topos of the house is fundamental for thematology and literary topology. A house, representing either a dwelling place, a temporary refuge or a home, is an essential space in the majority of literary stories; it is a certain static counterpart to a literary character, it forms their background or represents an aim to which they are heading. Its organization may reflect a character's nature or emphasize a significant contradiction between the space and the human being inhabiting it. As the role, function, form and significance of a literary character and of other constitutive elements of a narrative text were transformed in the course of the 20th century, the concept of the space of a house also underwent significant changes. Chapter 3 of the...

João Guimarães Rosa, Buriti: commented translation
Dufková, Vlasta ; Housková, Anna (advisor) ; Forbelský, Josef (referee) ; Burianová, Zuzana (referee)
Keywords: João Guimarães Rosa, Brazilian letters, translation poetics The aim was to translate the Brazilian language innovator's novel, add an interpretative commentary and draw conclusions pertinent to Rosaean studies and translation poetics. An introductory first chapter proposes an interpretation of the work in the literary history context. The translation itself attempts to reflect the musicality of the original while maintaining its semantic content. The third chapter analyzes its text with respect to the translation methods and strategies used, and is concluded with an overview stemming from critical reflection. Emphasis is placed on the problematics of poetic language and its translatability, the Mallarméan chance and necessity as well as motivation and arbitrariness of the lansign, and on the ratio of intentionality in translation. The text is analyzed in the light of Saussurean anagrams and the ensuing paragramatic theory as well as Derridaean différance, while the best appropriate to translating seems to be Meschonnic's concept of rhythm as well Mukařovský's semantic gesture. A proof has been established concerning closeness of the Benjaminean concept of translation and Rosa's quest for a "language of metaphysics". The Czech translation published in book form has won the Jungmann Prize...
António Lobo Antunes: extent of a novel
Špánková, Silvie ; Vydrová, Hedvika (advisor) ; Housková, Anna (referee) ; Burianová, Zuzana (referee)
Antonio Lobo Antunes (1942) is not only a writer who, in a very personal way, depicts contemporary Portuguese society: he is also an artist who cares about the aesthetic value of his works refining permanently his tools in view of transforming the art of the novel. We decided thus to reflect on the creative process in Lobo Antunes' works giving a more accurate definition of their generic features. The writer himself opened a way for us to reflect, having entitled some of his works by an explicit generic or parageneric reference: An Explanation of the Birds (1981), Act of the Damned (1985), Treatise of the sours Passions (1990), The Inquisitors' Manual (1996) and Don't Go So Fast Into That Dark Night (2000), referred to as a poem. The starting point and the basic methodological tool of our analyses is Genette's theory of the paratext and the so-called generic modulation, which is based on genre theories developed by J. M. Schaeffer, Aguiar e Silva, Fowler, Genette and Reis. These tools allow us to explore not only the semantic link between a title (or a generic indication) and a literary text, but also the signs of the architextual, generic and discoursive layers. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate how Lobo Antunes, in different moments of his literary career, worked out his processes, how different...
The Director as a Shifting Role
Burianová, Zuzana ; ŠIKTANCOVÁ, Jaroslava (advisor) ; BURIAN, Jan (referee)
The present master's thesis focuses on relationships between the director and the other creators of a theatre production and on the ways in which these relationships develop during the creative process. The author describes and reassesses specific practical examples from her directorial and dramaturgical experience in years 2012-2015. The first part is devoted to those productions in which the author collaborated also on the playtext. It seeks to identify specific primary impulses which had inspired individual projects and to track any subsequent evolution of these impulses, a process which the author defines as assignment formulation. The second part concentrates in more detail on collaboration with actors and explores the circumstances in which a free creative process can be established, the border between the actor's creation and the director's direction of the actor. The third part addresses the interaction between three theatre professions, namely the director, the dramaturgist and the set designer.

The bachelor's thesis summarizes various views on documentary theatre within the theatre praxis. It cites current definitions of such practice and discusses the extent to which it is topical. The thesis is based partly on film theory, gives examples of theatre productions which are founded on documentary material and also refers to examples from the history of theatre. Among the notions to which it refers are the Living newspapers, postdramatic theatre or the Verbatim method. In its second part, the thesis reflects on the process of realization of a documentary task assigned to the author in the second year of study. It assesses the outcome critically and engages with the problems that arose in the course of the work and relates them to documentary theatre.
