Analysis of book collection of Historical cabinet, Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague

The thesis analyzes Historical cabinet. This library is a subject Library of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. Its main purpose is lending books to the students and professors of the Faculty of Arts, but also engages in other library projects (eg. Ask the library). The core of the library is formed from the 80's of the ninetheen century. The thesis uses inventory books, incremental lists and archive sources and analyses individual collections of Historical cabinet. It also focuses on old prints that are included in the Fund. In this context, the thesis also examines Exlibris and other provenance characters that have appeared on the old books. Likewise focuses on donations, as they constitute up to 35% of the entire Fund. Structure of the Fund was often influenced by the current political situation, which also takes into account the work.
Beroun and Hořovice regions in the power conception of House of Luxembourg

The presented diploma thesis deals with the areas of Beroun and Hořovice in the middle ages. At the core of the work of the Government of The house of Luxembourg - John, Charles IV. and Wenceslas IV. Using sources, examines how developed its management, property tenure. It also looks at the extent to which they have been in the Royal estates, the Church or the aristocratic possession. Also describes the emergence and development of individual towns and villages in Beroun and Hořovice district. It focuses on local nobles and their relationship to the Royal Court. Work also takes into account the Nuremberg path that passed through this area, and its influence on the possession of estates. Clerical life at Žebrák in the high Middle Ages

The main subject of the Bachelor's degree work is monitoring the Church administration in the region in 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century. The region Žebrácko laid in the deanery of Brdy, whose structure the author describes in the first part of the work. On the basis of the analysis of the sources, the author seeks to create an inventory of parish priests in the parish churches of St. William in Praskolesy, St. Giles in Hořovice and St. Lawrence in Žebrák. The work describes the mobility, education and other activities of individual parish priests. The author also explains the issue of the chapel of St. Procopius, in Praskolesy, in which were found the frescoes in 2005 from 14th century. The work also deals with the question of the patrons rights of individual churches. In this context, the author describes the rotation of the owners in selected areas, as it often held the patrons rights. The last part of the work deals with the Visitation protocol of the Prague achdeacon Paul of Janovice from the years 1379 -1382. The work describes his journey by the deanery of Brdy and focuses on the canonical visitation of monitored sites.
