Horbowyjová, Aneta ; Reckziegelová, Petra (advisor) ; Baxová, Dana (referee)
Author: Aneta Horbowyjová Supervisor: Mgr. Petra Reckziegelová Title: Casuistic study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after transtibial amputation Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the knowledge about amputation, possibilities of rehabilitation in patients with amputation and to elaborate a case report of a patient with amputation. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the issue of transtibial amputation. It contains basic information necessary for understanding the topic, knowledge from the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation. The special part consists of a case report of a patient diagnosed with unilateral transtibial amputation. The case report was prepared within the framework of continuous professional practice at the Rehabilitation Clinic Malvazinky. Results: As a result of physiotherapy care, the patient's condition improved. Conclusion: The set goals of the work were achieved. Keywords: transtibial amputation, case study, rehabilitation, physiotherapy
Functional disorders of motion system, their diagnosis and therapy- lumbar spine
Baxová, Dana ; Břízová, Marie (advisor) ; Senetyčová, Miroslava (referee)
The aim of my bachelors work was to describe the formation of functional disorders of the motion system in details in the theoretical part. There have also been described the most commonly used methods of therapy of the functional disorders. For each individual method of therapy are given the theoretical principles of the method, indications and contraindications, examples of exercises and practice exercises, advantages and disadvantages of the method. In the practical part was performed clinical examination and then was developed casuistry in selected patient. Patients were selected in the Department of Rehabilitative Medicine. Therapy was conducted with two patiens one and half months. Each patient had six respectively seven therapies. In the beginning patients were examined, then was conducted therapy in which were used methods described in the theoretical part. Therapy was finished by final examination and evaluation of the patiens.
Camparsion of crdiovascular responses to stress by one and both lower limbs on a bicycle ergometer.
Baxová, Dana ; Radvanský, Jiří (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the stress on a bicycle ergometer. This theoretical part is a summary of findings on the response of the cardiovascular parameters, one-leg ergometry, description of Borg RPE scale and laterality of the lower limbs. The practical part is a comparison of the measured values of cardiovascular parameters. Furthermore was evaluating the subjective perception of the intensity of workload and compares the workload between the left and right limbs. Methodology and data processing: data collection for statistical processing was carried out from December 2013 to early April 2014. Research group included 16 probands. The results were statistically analyzed and described. Results and conclusions: There are differences in the values of cardivascular parameters at maximum workload between the two and one leg. At submaximal workload are not significant differences Keywords: cardiovascular parameters, one-legged ergometry, laterality, Borg RPE scale

Retrospective investigation of success shockwaves therapy for heel spurs
Baxová, Dana ; Schreier, Bronislav (advisor) ; Demeková, Júlia (referee)
This thesis deals with shock waves and examines the efficiency of shock wave therapy in the diagnosis of heel spurs. The thesis contains a summary of theoretical knowledge about the shock waves, their physical principles, history, description of the shock wave generators, action and its effect on the body. Aim of the thesis was to assess whether there was a significant change in mean values of pain by VAS (visual analogue scale of pain ) before and after shock wave therapy for heel spurs. Furthermore was examined whether the changes in mean values of pain by VAS after shock wave therapy in a group of patients who have completed previous other therapy and another group that has not completed previous therapy are different. Methods: Data collection for statistical processing was carried out during November and December 2012. The research group included 141 patients. Have been demonstrated changes in pain by VAS before and after shock wave therapy . Results: In our study we demonstrated that the shock wave therapy was a significant reduction in pain by VAS. Conclusion: Is appropriate and legitimate using shock wave therapy in the diagnosis of heel spurs .
