Valuation of the company Family brewery Bernard corp.

The primary task of the diploma thesis is the valuation of the company Family brewery Bernard corp. The corporation belongs among the biggest Czech manufacturers of beer. The goal of the valuation is to independently determine market value of the company on 1.1.2015. Taking into account the specifics of the market and the company itself it is used discounted cash flow method DCF Equity. This main method is supported by the alternate method of market comparison. The diploma thesis comprises of financial and strategical analysis, value drivers, financial plan and final valuation.

Analysis of financial indexes in the Czech banking market and application of the RSW model.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to explain the basic financial indexes in the Czech banking sector, to analyze Czech banks with the model of financial health RSW, which was modified according to the specifics of Czech enterprises, and to contribute to the conclusion, if it is possible to apply the model RSW in its modified form for testing financial health of Czech banks. The RSW model results will be compared with achieved results in the model, which I named alternative comparative model (S-model). S-model works with indexes from banks annual reports. The theoretical part will be defined by definition of bank and a brief description of Czech banking, by financial description of the specifics in bank statements and fundamental indexes. Then I will describe the way of using the model RSW in its modified form. In the practical part of my diploma thesis I will test eighteen Czech banks by RSW model and compare achieved banks ratings with the alternative comparative model. I choose the techniques of S-model based on my individually attained knowledge and read literature.

Financial analysis of Stavitelství Kladno spol. s r.o. company

The bachelor thesis focuses on financial analysis of Stavitelství Kladno spol. s r.o. company. In this analysis were used public data from period 2007 -- 2011. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first methodical part describes subject, sources, users and methodology of financial analysis -- methodology of horizontal and vertical analysis of statements, ratios and used bankruptcy and creditworthy models. The second practical part process horizontal and vertical analysis of company's balance sheet and income statement. There are also ratios assessed and results compared with sector's values and in the end there are also results of bankruptcy and creditworthy models applied on analysed enterprise evaluated.

Valuation of general practitioner practice in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to valuate private medical practice of general practitioner and develop a project that would enable selling this practice in a five-year horizon. For the purpose of valuation I will assess the state of and outlook of the Czech health care system, I will perform financial analysis of the company. Based on information from the financial and strategic analysis I will compile financial plan and final valuation. Project of the sale will address the steps that have an impact on sale in terms of cost, transaction risk, tax perspective, financing and methods of the sale.

It examines the bank's financial health using the data from the bank's assets and liabilities, expenses, revenues and profits as well as profitability, liquidity and capital adequacy. All the results are compared within the banking sector using the Financial market supervision report.

This thesis is focused on financial analysis of Accor hotel group. The purpose of this thesis is to identify and assess the financial position, financial health and performance of the company from the above-mentioned two perspectives, furthermore the monitoring of the development of the financial analysis and the analysis of changes during the period, also a comparison of selected indicators with industry and sector averages and lastly, a deepening of knowledge in the field of financial analysis. The aim of the work or the working hypothesis is to determine whether the selected company is prospective to the investor and sufficiently creditworthy for the bank or in general whether the company has passable financial position and performance. In order to achieve these objectives and purposes was chosen as the method of financial analysis. Other used methods are observation and comparison. These methods include, for example, financial techniques like horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis, as well as simple mathematical tools like averages and percentages and lastly accounting tools like ratios and trend analysis. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part deals with the theoretical definition of concept of financial analysis which is followed by related terms and second part dealt with the presentation of given company, application of theory in practice, summary and recommendation.

The goal of this diploma thesis is presentation and application of different types of methods of financial analysis. In the theoretical part there are described principles of financial statements according to International Financial Accounting Standards on which is the financial analysis based on. Also there are described applied methods, their indicators and patterns. In the practical part of diploma thesis there are used some of the described methods of financial analysis to the international company Continental Corporation Inc. Financial analysis is used to assessment of financial situation of the company and its development in years 2009 to 2013.

Analysis of company's capital structure and its optimalization

The diploma thesis "Analysis of company's capital structure and its optimization options" explores the choice of financial resources of the company. The aim is to summarize the main theories of capital structure optimization and present empirical studies on the factors that affect the choice of structure. Then practice the idea of optimizing the capital structure on chosen company. The practical part deals firstly with the recent development of the capital structure in the industry in which selected company operates. Followed by analysis of the cost of capital of the company itself. The analysis of the capital structure showed that companies in the Czech Republic in the NACE 28 during the years 2003 to 2012 increased the use of equity. Companies rarely finance their needs by long-term debt, more used is short-term debt. The cost of capital calculations of chosen company showed that the model of average cost of capital corresponds to the theory of MM II. Recommendations for the company's increase debt to achieve lower cost of capital.

Financial analysis of metallurgical industry in certain European countries

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the metallurgical industry in certain European countries -- in Czech Republic, Poland, Slovak Republic and Slovenia during the period from 2006 to 2010. Further was made a comparative analysis of chosen representative (U. S. Steel Košice, s.r.o.) with Slovak metallurgical industry. There is also examined, if so called financial crisis, which started in 2007 in USA, influenced the metallurgical industry. Financial analysis is made by classic profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios, debt ratios and also by horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements. For obtaining of input data was used database Amadeus.

Valuation of a Pharmacy

The goal of this diploma thesis is the estimation of the objective value of a pharmacy as of 31. 12. 2010. In line with standard valuation process, in the first part the financial analysis gives a fair estimate of the financial health and effectivity of the company. Subsequently, the strategic analysis deals with long-term perspectives of the respective company, together with a detailed analysis of the company's industry. The first two parts are used as a basis for prognosis of value generators and financial plan preparation. The final value of the company is determined by means of two methods, DCF equity and capitalized net earnings method.
