Communication module for power supplies controlling
Zachar, Jiří ; Šmíd, Petr (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design a communication module for laboratory source Manson. This power supply communicates only through a serial RS-232 link. Modern computers usually use for the connection with other peripherals mainly USB. Designed communication module contains converter between the RS-232 and USB. Power supply is used in the automated measurement setup, which is controlled from the Virtual Engineering Environment from the Agilent Technologies. Direct commands for laboratory source Manson are not compatible with the SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) standard commands. So, the communication module converts commands from the SCPI format to Manson supply instructions. The communication with the Manson supply will be obvious for students by using new communication module.
Synchronization of the time using the GPS
Švábeník, Petr ; Šmíd, Petr (referee) ; Vyskočil, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis discusses about using the worldwide satellite system GPS for time and frequency synchronization. This thesis presents study about basic principles of the GPS system, its segments and ways of using this system. Some GPS receivers suitable for receiving the time marks (pulses) used for time synchronization are described. Thesis contents designing of the circuit that will receive time marks and it will digitalize and record external signal and send it with precision time information to PC for displaying and post processing. Thesis also discusses about both hardware and software development of the synchronization module and software used in PC.
Posouzení aktuálního stavu kalamitních holin na revíru Buková a potřeb melioračních opatření (lesní správa Černá Hora)
Šmíd, Petr
The topic of the thesis is the water regime in the forest environment at a specific location (Buková district) in connection with the ongoing bark beetle calamity and the associated extensive deforestation of the landscape. After a general introduction to the issue of water in the landscape, the thesis smoothly transitions into a detailed description of the area of interest, i.e. the Buková district, and a more detailed description of the associated forest groups. It captures the period before the bark beetle calamity and compares it with the current period. In addition to the water regime, it also compares the economic situation - the lost profits due to the bark beetle calamity. The paper also evaluates the current land reclamation measures and forest restoration methods using simple methods.
Algorithms for Multi-Agent Pickup-and-Delivery Problems
Šmíd, Petr ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Ivanová, Marika (referee)
In this thesis, we explore the world of Multiagent pickup and delivery algorithms. Basic definitions, as well as simple extensions, are introduced to the reader. State-of-the- art algorithms are thoroughly described, analyzed, and tested in various environments based on multiple conditions. We describe the scalability of the algorithms and demon- strate it in multiple scenarios. The thesis includes a short overview of explainable plans, their motivation, and their implementation. Support software was created for conducting experiments, visualization, and making explainable plans. 1
Capital jurisdiction, criminality and everyday life on domain of Náchod and in king's town Nymburk between the years 1513-1618
Šmíd, Petr ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Hrachová, hana (referee)
Capital jurisdiction, criminality and everyday life on domain of Náchod and in king's town Nymburk between the years 1513-1618 In this diploma paper I dealt with criminality and everyday life on the early modern domain of Náchod and in the king's town Nymburk between the years 1513-1620. Firstly I tried to describe how the town councils worked and with which central regulations they operated. Secondly I did the statistic quatification of all criminal delicts which are mentioned in "pitch" or "black" books of Náchod and Nymburk and other materials of court provenance. Then I compared court causes from other "pitch"/ "black" books which were published in the past with material from Náchod's and Nymburk's archive. I managed to use modern historical methods such as microhistory and historical anthropology to show which postures took early modern society to different types of criminal delicts or problematic phenomenona like sexual life before marriage, suicide, rape or witchcraft. In connection with this I tried to clear up why were criminal delicts like infanticide or witchcraft punished with such a brutal death penalty. As well as this I attempted to describe in details the fact that punishment was not irreversible. The town council was very open to requests of mercy especially if a priest or a clerk of local...

Criminality, capital jurisdiction and everyday life on domain of Náchod in years 1513-1618
Šmíd, Petr ; Stejskal, Aleš (referee) ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor)
In my bachelor's work I wrote about criminality and everyday life on early modern domain of Náchod between the years 1513-1618. I tried to describe how did the town council of Náchod worked and with which royal regulations they operated. I also did the statistic quatification of all crimal delicts which are mentioned in "pitch" or "black" book of Náchod and other materials of court provenance. I also compared court causes from other "pitch"/ "black" books which were published in the past with material from Náchod's archive. I tried to use modern historical methods such as microhistory and historical antropology to show which postures took early modern society to different types of criminal delicts or other problematic phenomenons like sexual life before marriage, suicide, rape or witchcraft. In connection with this I tried to clear up why were criminal delicts like infaticidium or witchcraft punished with such brutal death penalty. Also I tried to describe in details the fact that punishment wasn 't irreversible. The town council was very open to requests of mercy espacially if local priest or a clerk of Náchod's suzerain were interested in it. I also tried to show that there were no big differencies between court practice all over the Bohemian kingdom. Unfortunatelly some questions, like the role of...

The most important are director and partners on the scene and around and next the theatre space and scene space (set design solution etc.). The thesis has also chapter about needs to know yourself for acting. And then I describe the ways with a drama text, undramatic text and without text too. How we were working without text and what it mean for me and my character. Next chapters are about extreme forms of actor‘s work. Which is performance and immersive theatre. The last two chapters are about film acting and acting with text in foreign language.
Impact of environmental factors on the game clashes with motor vehicles on roads in West Bohemia.
Přigrodský, Milan ; Šmíd, Petr (advisor) ; Vykouk, Martin (referee)
Under the influence of long-term development of the motorway and road network and increasing the intensity of traffic in the Czech Republic there are frequent accidents. Among the causes of traffic accidents can include some environmental factors whose action may be involved in their formation and their severity e.g. weather conditions, road surroundings, or time of day, but also combinations thereof. Other important factors may include environmental character clashes with animals, the weight of individuals of some species may cause a traffic accident. Roads are becoming an obstacle to moving animals, which must be overcome in connection with migration or regular movement in the country. If they are not in their construction or renovation of pre-considered measures that would prevent or restrict the movement or the movement of animals. Measures informing drivers of motor vehicles on the hazard can be fatal clash. This thesis describes the issue of conflicts of motor vehicles with animals, analysis of events related to this topic on the roads West Region, especially its causes and effectiveness of existing measures and custom design to ensure adequate prevention in areas with the highest incidence of conflicts.
Impact of environmental factors on the game clashes with motor vehicles on the road in North Moravia
Hubálková, Petra ; Šmíd, Petr (advisor) ; Vykouk, Martin (referee)
The topic of this Bachalor work is the analysis, prevention and possible precautions of collisions of motor vehicles with animals. The work covers Moravskoslezký region. The statistic data from that region are analysed and particular precautions are suggested. The data were obtained from the Czech republic police, the Czech Statistical Office and Generali Inc. assurance company. The work offers a survey of effects resulting in these collisions, such as season of a year, time of a day, weather etc. As part of the work a questionaire survey was carried out in which I focused especially on the driver´s awareness of the problem and their knowledge of what to do in a critical situation. Accompanying the work is also a suggested preventive feature in the form of a propagation materials.
