Design of mobile robot actuated element for elevator control
Štastný, Petr ; Podolinský, Ondřej (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of an actuator for a mobile robot, which enables the elevator control element to be switched. After researching available actuators, a type that meets the requirements is selected. An end-effector suitable for this task is designed. Subsequently, a module for locating the position of ArUco markers in the camera image is presented. The entire system is implemented in the ROS framework. The proposed solution is tested for repeatable accuracy, which verifies the functionality of individual modules and the entire solution. The result is an actuator mechanical structure with con- trol from ROS, which enables the elevator control element to be switched.
The effect of individual training of specific goaltender skating and skills on shuffle, T-push and slide in youth categories
Hedbávný, Vojtěch ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Vojta, Zdeněk (referee)
Author: Vojtech Hedbavny Title: The effect of individual training in specialized goalie skating and skills on the speed of performing shuffle, T-push and slide in youth categories. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to test ice hockey goaltenders in the speed of their T-push, shuffle, and slide movements by creating a testing battery and training program, and subsequently comparing their results over a period of two months. Another objective is to determine whether the goaltender's age has an influence on the extent of the time change in the test. Methods: The research was conducted by testing nineteen ice hockey goalkeepers aged between eight and nineteen years. The entire experiment lasted for nine weeks during the competitive season. At the beginning of the first week, the initial testing took place, and at the end of the last week, the final testing occurred. Training stimulation took place during the nine weeks between the tests. Empirical quantitative research in the form of test measurements was used to gather data. For comparing the results in individual tests and illustrating the relationship between age and the rate of change over time in the test, I utilized a table, Spearman's correlation coefficient, and a box plot graph in Microsoft Excel. Results: Improvement was...
Immediate effect of posterior chain facilitation using foam rolling on reactive strength performance
Harasimová, Petra ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Šťastný, Petr (referee)
Author: Bc. Petra Harasimová Thesis supervisor: Mgr. Vladimír Hojka, Ph.D. Expert consultant: PhDr. Jitka Malá, Ph.D. Mgr. Dominik Kolinger Title: Immediate effect of posterior chain facilitation using foam rolling on reactive strength performance. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to determine whether the inclination of the trunk towards the vertical changes after foam roller facilitation, whether the magnitude of the jump increases or whether the contact time during reactive force performance is reduced. Methods: In this thesis an experiment in the form of a randomized crossover study was used. Fifteen active female athletes with the problem of physiological maintenance of trunk position during running participated in the measurement. Subjects performed repeated snatch jumps over hurdles 57-68 cm in height. For the skip jumps, we measured jump height and support time using an Optojump (Microgate, Bolzano, Italy) and maximal trunk tilt using a video camera (GoPro HERO 9). After the warm-up, probands completed two measurements (pre-test) within 2 minutes. Then, the intervention group of probands performed foam rolling facilitation - m. triceps surae, mm. hamstrings, m. gluteus maximus, m. erector trunci; for each muscle group for 30 s, with a frequency of 1.5 Hz; the control group had rest...
Sports preparation of para hockey players in Czech Republic
Gojová, Barbora ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: Sports training of national Para ice hockey team players in the Czech Republic Results: Using theoretical knowledge, questionnaire survey and based on interviews with the coach of the para hockey team of the Czech Republic, to describe the current level of sports preparation of para hockey players in the Czech Republic. The sub-goal was to design suitable exercises on and off the ice. Method: Within the theoretical part, a method of literature research was chosen to present basic information about para hockey and its training in the Czech Republic. The research was conceived as mixed. The methods of data collection were a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. In the case of open questions and interview analysis, the method of creating clusters was used. Results: Training units are insufficient in terms of complexity, lacking, for example, a focus on endurance and training of game skills. Hockey clubs lack a sufficient number of off-ice training units, there is no recovery and rest plan, and very little emphasis is placed on compensatory training. The absence of individual training is also problematic. Training in the season focuses mainly on shooting and passing practice. There is a lack of training of other important techniques,...

Title: Strength training for children in football. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to create a literature search in the field of strength training of children and then to create a proposal for the development of strength skills in children in the preparatory period of category U14. Methods: The methods of this work is a literature search. Results: Formation of a clear literature search with the help of the literature on the topic. Describing the different periods in child development and highlighting the somatic, functional and pedagogical specificities. Analysis of the muscular system and principles of strength training with a focus on the childhood age. The result is a proposal for an intervention program for strength training of children in the preparatory period. The output will be a set of strength exercises. In the future, it will be a guide in obtaining information for the stimulation of strength skills as part of the conditioning of children in football, respecting the age of 14 years, developmental specifics, level of fitness and the current state of the child. Keywords: Developmental specifics, muscular system, strength stimulation, football, intervention program
Comparison of field and laboratory tests in adult soccer players
Skálová, Denisa ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Šťastný, Petr (referee)
Title: Comparison of field and laboratoty tests in adult soccer players Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine the correlation between selected field and laboratory tests in adult female soccer players. Methods: The tested group consisted of 20 first league female football players of the Prague women's team FK Dukla Praha, their age ranged from 17-36 years (height 167 ± 14.8, weight 66.8 ± 21.3). The measurements were taken once during the spring preparation period 2021 (March-May). Data were collected indirectly (mediated) using laboratory instruments (body composition tests - DEXA, lower limb explosive strength - KISTLER, muscle strength - CYBEX) as well as field motor tests (10 and 30 m sprints, 6 x 20 m repeated sprints, agility test and special endurance test). Kendall's tau (τ) was used for data analysis and subsequent correlation. The level of statistical significance was set at (p < 0.05). According to Portney and Watkins (2009), the strength of the correlation was interpreted as follows: 0.00-0.25 little or no relationship; 0.26-0.50 low relationship; 0.51-0.75 moderate or good relationship; and 0.76-1.0 good to excellent relationship. Results: This study found that there were no significant correlations between the individual test scores selected for our hypotheses. Low...

Title: Monitoring the use of chewing tobacco in ice hockey players. Goals: The aim is to determine the frequency, causality of chewing tobacco use in IH players and its sport-social context. Why is chewing tobacco so popular among hockey players recently. Methods: The research was based on a questionnaire survey. The survey consisted of 22 questions, respondents always had a choice of several options, except for 3 questions that were open- ended. Some questions were of the YES/NO response type and some were multiple choice. The questions were structured from the most basic to the more specific. The only mandatory question in the questionnaire was question number one. The questionnaire ended for respondents who selected the NO option in question one. Thus, respondents had the option of skipping questions. The entire questionnaire was anonymized as much as possible and was conducted over the Internet. It took a maximum of 5 minutes to complete and some took considerably less time. Results: The results show that 35.2 % of the 216 hockey players use chewing tobacco, and in relatively large quantities. Almost 40 % of them chew 7 or more sachets per day, feeling focused and relaxed after using it. Most respondents were introduced to chewing tobacco because of ice hockey and teammates. In the hockey...
