The Creative Vision in the Short Stories of Bunin and Andrejevová
Dále se zabývám porovnáním Buninova a Andrejevova přístupu ke světelným a barevným kontrastům, k barevnému vyjádření vnějšího a vnitřního světa hrdiny, časovosti a věčnosti, života a smrti. Štěpánková, Jana ; Hříbková, Radka (advisor) ; Hlaváček, Antonín (referee)
My bachelor's dissertation is aimed at evaluating the social status of a teacher's profession referring to Russian classical literature. The introductory part deals with cultural- historical contexts of functioning of Russian education in 19th century. The main content of my work is to introduce and analyse the issue of social status of a teacher as an important creator of children's personality mainly according to the book The little demon by F. Sologub and short stories by A. P. Čechov. Comparing the two mentionened works and other literary references the dissertation is trying to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that the profession of a teacher in Russian literature is seen as one of the most important jobs whose aim is to educate the future generation so that it is profitable for itself and for the society. The thesis concludes that teacher figures were portrayed predominantly in a negative manner. Authoritative attitude towards the children was often intensified by the teacher's alcoholism and resulted in the pupils being physically punished on a daily basis.

Tolkunova, Yana ; Hlaváček, Antonín (advisor) ; Hříbková, Radka (referee)
Abstract. The aim of the thesis is to research an image of a child as a small human being and an image of childhood as a condition of a human soul in the literarily works of a celebrated Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva. The poems being researched are written in various periods of Tsvetaeva's literary career, in which she touches upon the subject of childhood. The work concentrates on comparative analyses of selected literature and it should be observed, that the object of the analysis is only a small fraction of lyric poems, which on the whole amount to more than a thousand. There is an attempt to follow the development and changes in the theme of children and childhood in the process of creative evolution and maturity of the poetess. Due to the fact, that thesis concentrates on pomes from different periods of poetess' life, the goal is to support hypothesis that the leitmotif of childhood was one of the most important in Tsvetaeva's creative outlook. Smejkalová, Julie ; Hříbková, Radka (advisor) ; Hlaváček, Antonín (referee)
The main aim of the Bachelor thesis "An individual on the verge of chaos in Dostoyevsky's novel The Brothers Karamazov" is to analyse an individual in search of one's identity in the chaotic world of the second half in the XIX century Russia. The good and the evil collide in the souls of the characters who feel lost in the world of sudden changes of moral certainties, various philosophical streams and influences which emerge. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on defining the contradictory period of the second half of the XIX century. Following that, the conception of chaos is defined and explored both from the perspective of the external chaos in the world as well as the internal one which in the works of Dostoyevsky manifests itself in the individual's intense suffering leading to a complete degradation of personality. The main part of the thesis concentrates on the analyses of different approaches by which the protagonists of the novel try to reach an internal harmony. The final chapter is dedicated to the youngest of the three brothers, Alexey, in whose faith and the unconditional love for his homeland and everyone around him, Dostoyevsky finds the firm ground for achieving true personal fulfilment and harmony.
