Motivation and employee evaluation

The aim of this thesis is to analyze motivation and evaluation of employees. I applied acquired theoretical knowledge on the company XY which runs business in a food industry. The theoretical part is focused on motivation and evaluation. I draw from Czech and external literature. In the practical part there was carried out an analysis of present motivation and evaluation of employees in the company XY. Then I worked on the opinions of managers and employees working in the sales department. I defined research questions which were answered on the ground of interpretation of analysis results. I used following methodical instruments: description, questionnaire, half-structured, dialogue, analysis, synthesis and interpretation. In conclusion of the practical part I mentioned improvement proposals and recommendations which can lead to the optimalization of motivation and evaluation employees in the company.
Comparison of groups self-employed and employees in Czech Republic

The goal of this thesis is an analysis of situation between self - employed and employees with respect to tax duties and net profit. This topic is actual because constant changes tend to be miss-interpreted. Such interpretations often suites more political needs rather than truthfully reflect actual situation. Theoretical part will describe legal framework for self - employed and employees, explain major differences between two groups, describe over time evolution of private enterprise in our country. Pros and cons will be pointed out for each group. In case of self - employed, overall influence on the global economy will be described. The preface of analytical part will focus on construction and over time evolution of tax duties, namely income tax, health and social care. Following sections will list actual amounts of each tax duty collected, effectively evaluating situation of each group. The last section will focus on time evolution in number of self employed in an effort to point out actual impacts of measures taken in private enterprise environment.
The labour market in České Budějovice district in relation with education

This thesis deals with the labour market in České Budějovice district in relation with education. The first section provides basic theoretical background of the labour market followed by the issue of human capital, where education plays an important role. At the end of the first part, the current situation and possible developments of the labour market in the Czech Republic with relation to education are described. In the practical part, the introduced region is analyzed with respect to the labour market. Using a questionnaire survey distributed among companies of the region were obtained relevant data, which reflect the current situation of graduates at the local labour market. Finally, there is a multiple regression model, which is created based on testing a limited group of employees to determine, whether the investment in education is really profitable. At the end of this work, problem areas are defined and evaluated.
Motivation of Workers in the Particular Organization

This work was focused on theme Motivating resources. The aim was to identify and assess the actual state of the selected organization, in the sphere motivation of their employees. On the basis of theoretical and practical knowledge, it was to show the faults in the motivation of employees. It was suggested to eliminate of the established faults.
Employee Training in a Selected Company

The goal of this paper is the analysis of employee training. It deals with general methods of business education in companies, what learning opportunities for individual departments and various work positions are available, trends in educational methods and theoretical overview of access to education. This part of the paper defines terms of human capital, human resources and the importance of professional education and training within a company. Another part is focused on information obtained from the company ČEVAK a.s. and the current system of education in this company. The main goal of this work is the analysis of employee training this particular company, the analysis of educational and training activities, a proposal of effective changes and recommendations for management improvement in the field of education and training.
The evaluation of the employment relationship - legal aspects and tax aspects in terms of CR

The theoretical part of my bachelor thesis deals with the basic definition of characteristic terms: human resources management, recruiting, overlapping of functions, agency employment and kinds of employment relationship according to the Czech Labour Code. The practical part is focused on the characteristics of the selected business entity, study of literature and current legislation and the application of theoretical resources in the given company. In the selected limited company the overlapping of functions were founded and in the thesis is described how eliminate this legal problem. The proposal of improvements under the Commercial Code are suggested, based on the findings.
Employees With Special Needs

At present, almost every top manager is struggling with stress and the effects associated with it. The aim of the thesis discusses two basic groups of workers - occupations that involve increased risk, problems solving and increased mental and emotional burden (managerial occupations, professions in the military, ...). And the workers who found themselves in the short-term unfavourable situation that burdens them as well as their surroundings. We must be familiar with basic concepts, history, leadership and the problems associated with this profession in order to approach the topic. Status of women and men in leadership positions and expert opinions how to manage best stressful situations are observed. Data obtained from eight managers from different companies are gathered through interviews. Results are obtained from graphs and tables. Based on the data and their analysis, problem areas are defined and appropriate recommendations to managers are made.
Education and human resources development in selected companies
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the diploma thesis called "Education and human resources development in selected companies" is to highlight the prevalent forms of education in selected companies, to analyze them with regard to human resources development and to propose changes leading to improve the future knowledge economy. Two companies have been selected for research: Schwan Cosmetics CR, Ltd., based in Český Krumlov, which produces wooden cosmetic pencils, and Leifheit, Ltd., based in Blatná, producing domestic utensils and fabrics. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. The theoretical part required a number of relevant scholarly treatises to be studied. In this part, the basic terminology pertaining to human resource management, education of employees and knowledge economy is explained. The following part first describes the selected companies and then it focuses on the analysis of education of employees and the human resources development in these companies, by means of questionnaires and unguided interviews with heads of personnel departments. In the closing part, a summary of acquired data, together with recommendations and suggestions for possible improvements are included.
Specifics of Human Resources Management in Retail
MAŘÍKOVÁ, Karla
The thesis investigates potential improvements of the motivation of retail workers. In the theoretical part, there are presented and analysed techniques of motivation of employees in retail. The practical part deals with the research conducted among retail-employees in the Czech Republic and Germany. Their opinion was ascertained using a questionnaire. They commented on their current motivation and possibilities of its improvement. The research showed that employees are better motivated by equitable remunerations. Next research finding is that Czech workers and German workers alike are satisfied with their job. In the conclusion of the work, there are suggested particular recommendations for improvement of the motivation of workers in one certain retail store.
The motivation of employees in retail

The aim of the thesis is the analysis of motivational tools employment policies in selected sector and any proposed amendment. To achieve the aim of this work is carried out research on employee satisfaction selected sample from the retail sector and are defined outcomes and conclusions from the data.
